Some feelings don’t come out in words, they come out in movement.

A little outside my comfort zone... but l’m not mad about it.

I had SO much fun at this workshop with @sophienockfitnesstraining ! Definitely a little different to what I normally dance, but sometimes stepping outside your comfort zone is where the fun is 🫶

✨ WA DANCE EXPO ✨
Feeling very grateful, happy and still on a little bit of a high from this competition.

🥇 Open Solo
🥇 Neo Solo
🥈 Broadway Solo
I was lucky enough to be invited back to dance alongside 5 other insanely talented dancers and was awarded 15 Years & Over Champion Dancer with my new lyrical routine🏆Such a huge honour and definitely a moment I won’t forget!

This comp was extra special because it was Troupe Night, which meant having my dance family there cheering me on side stage and from the audience. A special shoutout to all the younger dancers who stayed up way past their bedtime just to watch and cheer us on… you guys are the BEST 🫶🏼

A massive thank you to @suzi_rolton & @jamierolton for creating the most beautiful routines for me and to @tahlialorenland for all the lovely feedback, comments and encouragement. I’m so grateful for the time, love and belief you put into me.

Also a huge thank you to the @wadanceexpo team for putting on such an amazing, well-run competition! The vibe, the people and the whole atmosphere made it so fun to be part of.

And of course, the biggest thank you to my dance school family for making this night SO special. I’m seriously lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing people.

The audience sees the performance, but dancers know the stage wings hold a little magic of their own.

What a weekend! So grateful for every opportunity to step on stage, perform the routines I love, and be surrounded by the best people. From cheering on my teammates, spending time with the little dancers, making new friends from other studios, and creating so many memories, this weekend had it all.

I’m incredibly thankful for the beautiful feedback from the adjudicator and backstage helpers, it means so much to know that all the hard work is being seen.
