the best decision i ever made in my life was deciding to follow Jesus.

My senior year was definitely not how i expected it to be. There were constant ups and downs and times i just wanted it to be over. but the one person who was always constant and faithful to me was God. There was no way i could’ve gotten through it without Him and deciding to fully pursue Him and dive into community with others who love the Lord was truly the best decision ever. Jesus has turned my pain into peace and has answered prayers that seemed impossible to even pray. Following Jesus is hard and there’s days i don’t feel like opening my Bible or praying to Him and everyday I fall short, but pursuing a relationship with Him is SO worth it and He is SO good!!!

Thank you to everyone who came to witness me take this important next step in my faith. i could not do it without y’all’s love and support and y’all’s continuance in guiding me closer to Him. @april_hays you have been a role model to me and have helped me in more ways than i think you realize. Thank you for showing me how a Godly woman should live. God knew i needed you in my life and im so so so happy that you were able to baptize me!!! by @sydney_svahn

The Lord is SO present in this place! from folding laundry and scrubbing toilets to hiking and hanging around the fireplace with friends, God has given me joy and rest that makes no sense! can’t believe i’ve been here for 2 weeks already!!! so sad to be leaving this place in a week.
