A PNW Weekend A few weeks ago, Sydney and I went north to backpack in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia. On our drive up, we stopped for a quick boat ride that allowed us to both see Orcas up close for the first time! We had the best looks at Orca pod T99, a transient pod that frequents the Puget Sound. Not only did we see two other pods from a distance, we also secured an unbelievable spot to pitch our tent on our night of backpacking. PNW summers are hard to beat. by @sydneyannb_

I feel so incredibly lucky that I’ve gotten to witness two different natural phenomenons in the last month. First being the Eclipse in Dallas and now the most incredible gift, the Aurora Borealis or northern lights in Washington. The colors were just unreal and I have other color ways to come but this is just one example of the combinations I saw that night. I actually was not planning to go out that night to see it for myself but this will always be a little reminder to get after it! by @sydneyannb_
