“Even if I have to dig ditches for the rest of my life, I’ll be a ditch digger who once had a wonderful day.”

Michael Stewart’s tear-jerking words (spoken so beautifully by @robertpieranunzi) perfectly capture how my days at Hello, Dolly felt❤️

I loved every ✨moment✨of this beautiful experience. My artist’s cup is overflowing having gotten to witness the talent of this company bringing to life such a magical show. My heart is overflowing with love from my beloved friends, family, and my sweet @dane__arthur who witnessed a dream of mine coming true.

The biggest thank yous to @cynthia.ferrer @ratliffsmomr5 @dcastellano354 for giving me this gift, the biggest happy birthday to princess @anna.mintzer who moved me and inspired me so deeply, and so many big hugs to this company that i love dearly. Cannot wait to call on dolly and dance and parade and polka and gallop with you all again one day ❤️❤️❤️

SHE’S HERE! THE CAT! world theatre day is the perfect excuse to share about my current traipse across the boards 🐈‍⬛ i’m playing Alice Van Guilder in Drat! The Cat! at The Group Rep!

i am so grateful to be back onstage doing a show like this, playing a kick ass part like this, and to be surrounded by such wonderful people like these. i like you, i like you, up to the CEILING i like you (come see the show to understand that reference :))

we opened last weekend (reviews have been coming in and oh boy… maybe i’ll share some of the kind words folks have said about our show and little old me, but man does it feel good to have our hard work celebrated in the way that it has been)! we have 5 more weekends of shows up at The Group Rep in North Hollywood, and it’s just a delightful romp! so funny and silly and so sweet and heartwarming! please come see us 🩷😻

dane took these photos of me after our opening night celebration with this beautiful bouquet he brought me! it was the FIRST time he’s seen me perform since we met and it’s been so special to have him in the audience 💐 happy syd!!!!!!!!

if you’ve read this far ily and swipe to the end of the post to see blonde baby syd in her first musical EVER as a black cat 🐈‍⬛ taken in The Group Rep at the Lonny Chapman Theatre by @sydneydemaria
