Happy Friday gang! We have a special treat for you this week… a guest mix from super talented local DJ/producer ILUZI. Expect deep rollers, techy Drum & Bass and multiple IDs. Give it a listen (& a like!) on Soundcloud and help support the incredible talent Sydney has to offer. ** SOUNDCLOUD LINK IN OUR BIO ** A BIT ABOUT ILUZI… Emerging from the vibrant streets of Sydney, Australia, at just 23 years old, Ilüzi (Ben Corthorn) has already carved out an impressive niche for himself in the bass music scene. Earning respect from many Sydney nightlife enthusiasts, Ben has performed countless gigs at clubs across Sydney while releasing relentless underground tracks for lovers of dark drum & bass music. Some of his most notable achievements include his all-original production live set for SXSW Sydney, launching his own rave collective under ‘Dirty Hertz’, and his involvement in productions used for Krater during Fashion Week in New York. Drawing on influences from the darker side of drum & bass and other forms of bass music, Ben’s sound is both brooding and powerful, with a relentless energy that is sure to get crowds moving. With a passion for pushing boundaries and exploring the depths of sound, Ilüzi has quickly risen through the ranks, gaining recognition for his dynamic performances and innovative productions. From the underground clubs of Sydney to festival stages, he has left an indelible mark on the scene. @iluzi.music #shookcrew #shookmix #shookguestmix #sydney #syddnb #sydneydnb #dnbmix #djmix #drumandbass #drumsndbassmix #bassmix by @sydneydnb

Happy Friday bassheads! This weeks guest mix is from one of Australia’s most underrated DNB producers, NEMEAN. He has released music on labels like Eatbrain and Hanzom and is truly an incredible talent. If you like your Drum & Bass hard and heavy you are going to LOVE this mix. Give it a listen (& a like!) on Soundcloud and help support local talent. ** SOUNDCLOUD LINK IN OUR BIO ** A BIT ABOUT NEMEAN… An unspoken ode to the modern sounds of drums and bass, with a blackened musical sensibility, Nemean forges his style with the hammer and tong of rhythm and bass. His sound is a melding of uneven bass-lines and melodic hooks characterised by his love for darker sounds. Guided by intricate percussion and snappy production, Nemean’s songs are designed - down to the core - to make you move. Hailing from Melbourne originally, Rory Webb aka Nemean was introduced to heavy music at an early age. He wholeheartedly threw himself in the punk and metal scenes as a teen but entered the electronic music scene in his early 20s with DJing and production after never quite finding his passion with an analogue instrument in his hand. Now, influenced from the harder edges of music Nemean sets out to deliver face melting Neurofunk. Nemean has been relentlessly pushing forward with his latest series of remixes with Zombie Cats and deput EP on Eatbrain ‘Possession’. His heavy repertoire includes releases on Hanzom Music, Code Smell, Abducted Records, Root97, Cause4Concern, Code Smell, Bass Rabbit, Kill Tomorrow, and The Tech Collective. An upcoming EP with Hanzom Music is sure to further this as momentum with some of his most polished and forward thinking tracks to date. Big plans are in his mind and unreleased music is plentiful. @nemeandnb #shookcrew #shookmix #shookguestmix #sydney #syddnb #sydneydnb #dnbmix #djmix #drumandbass #drumsndbassmix #bassmix by @sydneydnb
