A collection of impressively similar photos taken LIVE ONSTAGE during our rehearsals and performances of Constance: A Confession 📸 Swipe all the way through for a backstage shot with the photographer herself: The Art Critic from the Sheboygan Gazette, Edith andViep! (aka @sishelmabelle. Also shoutout to @shannon_sindelar whose note “pose more like a cool girl” helped move this from rehearsal pose which look like an SAI sorority sister in 2011 (slides 2-3) to more of the MomTok baddie we all grew to love by closing night. I am still processing the whole experience, and will share more soon, but suffice to say, @experimentsinopera is doing something very right. 🌈💛 #newopera #meetopera #onstagecamera #operasingersofinstagram #andpose by @sydneyea
Who knew that playing a con artist could be so much fun! Truly, this role has brought me back to myself in ways I cannot explain. Not because I relate to the character 🤣 but because it challenged me physically, mentally, and emotionally, and I am so proud of this wacky little show. Thank you to @experimentsinopera for trusting me with Constance. Thank you to all of the writers (tagged below) for crafting such a relevant (if not wildly dramatized and campy) collection of stories. Thank you to @herearts for hosting us. And thank you to the incredible cast and creative team for making this joyful and playful throughout the process. If you haven’t seen it yet, please come!!!
