September 25, 2025. 🤍 Exactly one year ago today, the biggest dream I’ve ever had came true.

When I hugged @shawnmendes , I remember crying because I couldn’t believe that I was finally getting to tell him everything I had wanted to say for years — how proud I am of him, how much I love him, and how grateful I am for everything he’s given me through his music.
He told me how he was so happy to finally meet me, how grateful he was that I was there, and how proud he was of me. He also told me he loved me. I remember closing my eyes during the hug and just trying to take in every second because I knew I never wanted to forget that feeling.
When the hug ended, I told him, “I love you so much” and “Thank you so much for everything.” He thanked me again for being there and told me he loved me again. And honestly… I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put into words what that moment meant to me.
A year later, I still think about that night all the time. I still get emotional watching the videos and looking back at the pictures. It truly was a once-in-a-lifetime moment that little 10-year-old me could only dream about.
I’ll never stop being grateful that I got to experience this. A dream that started when I was 10 became a memory I’ll carry with me forever. 🤍

One year ago today, I met Shawn Mendes. And one year later I get to celebrate the release of Illuminate (10th Anniversary Edition), while rewatching my video of me and Shawn hugging. I still can’t believe I get to say I have met my favorite artist. It will forever be my favorite memory ever!!! 🥺❤️
