Dear Blk,

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about everything you’ve done for me and who you are to this family. I just wanted to put it into words and let you know how much you mean to me.

First off, you’re my best friend. Out of anyone in the world, you’re the person I can always turn to, laugh with, and completely trust. You’ve had my back through absolutely everything, and that’s a bond I never take for granted.

You are the absolute definition of “if you don’t do it, my dad will.” You’re the guy who gets things done, no questions asked, no excuses made. Whenever something needs to be handled, fixed, or taken care of, you step up and set the standard. Because of that, I’ve always moved through life with a different kind of confidence, knowing exactly what real strength and dependability look like.

But the biggest thing you’ve given me is an example of how to move. You taught me how to be the realest NIG in the room without having to say a word. You don’t need to shout, you don’t need to put on a show, and you don’t need external validation. Your presence speaks for itself, and your actions do all the talking. That quiet confidence and heavy respect you command is exactly how I strive to carry myself every single day.
Thank you for being my blueprint, my anchor, and my best friend.

I’ve been thinking about how rare it is to find someone who carries the weight of the world with so much poise. You are the absolute epitome of grace, kindness, and beauty, and I’m not just talking about what everyone sees on the outside. There is a light in you that is so specific, so deep, and so pure that it simply couldn’t be duplicated. It’s a one-of-one kind of magic.

Thank you for being the most selfless person I know. I see the quiet sacrifices, the long days, and the way you always put everyone else first. Please know that none of your efforts go unnoticed. I see your strength even when you’re tired, and I admire your heart even when it’s being tested.

You are so incredibly strong, Mom. While I try my best to appreciate you here, I know that even my words fall short.
