if you told me a year ago this would be my life, i wouldn’t have believed you. lately i’ve been reminding myself just how precious life is. what a gift it is to be here, to experience moments i never saw coming, and to love the people who make this life so beautiful. life can change in ways you never expect. so be present. spend time with the people you love. hug your friends a little tighter. tell your people you love them. love deeply. dance a little longer. and take the damn picture 😜📸 grateful is an understatement. none of this lasts forever, and maybe that’s what makes it all so beautiful 💛🤩 by @sydoallen

what. a. year. i’ll forever leave a piece of myself in 2025 — and that’s something i’ll always grieve. it was easily one of the worst, and somehow one of the best years of my life. the hardest lesson was realizing that no matter how good you are to someone, no matter how deeply you love them, they can still turn their back on you — and there’s nothing you can do, but accept it and keep moving forward. healing from and surviving a narcissistic, abusive relationship was never something i thought would be part of my story… yet here we are. the pain, betrayal, heartbreak, tears, and depression i faced this year felt unbearable at times. but this year opened my eyes in ways i can’t ignore. i learned who truly showed up, who didn’t, who cared about me — and who only cared about what i gave. i saw who was solid, and who never was.

and at the same time, this year gave me moments i’ll carry forever. experiences that reminded me life doesn’t stop just because your heart is hurting. laughter i didn’t think i’d feel again. connections that felt genuine. i met people who showed me what real support looks like. who listened without judgement, showed up consistently, and loved without taking pieces of me in return. people who reminded me who i am when i’m not surviving — but living. this year taught me that even in the middle of the darkest chapters, there can still be joy. still beauty. still magic. and sometimes, the hardest years end up shaping you in the most meaningful ways.

i’m closing this year with a fuller heart, clearer boundaries, and a deeper understanding of myself. i’m proud of the way i survived, grateful for the people who stood by me, and hopeful for what’s ahead. here’s to healing, growth, and stepping into the next chapter stronger than ever. and here are some of my favorite memories with some of my favorite people and so many more moments and souls not pictured here, but that live deeply in my heart ❤️‍🔥✨ by @sydoallen

this past weekend was the best festival i’ve ever been to, and honestly, it came at the exact time i needed it most. bass canyon wasn’t just a festival - it was exactly what my broken little heart needed. a reset for my soul. it was the most magical and beautiful experience of my life. i don’t even have the words to explain what bass canyon did for me. i came in with a broken heart, feeling heavy and unsure, and left with a sense of lightness i didn’t know i could feel again. the music, the energy, the people, the canyon itself - it all held me in ways i didn’t even realize i needed. i laughed, i cried, i danced harder than i thought i could, and i felt so alive in ways i haven’t in a long time. i’ll never forget the way it felt to be surrounded by so much love and energy. it was pure magic. it reminded me that even in the hardest seasons, joy still finds its way back. forever grateful for this experience. thank you, bass canyon, for giving me back pieces of myself i thought were gone 🧚✨🫶 taken in The Gorge Amphitheatre by @sydoallen
