This is not a sympathy post but an awareness post. This is the drawing no woman wants to be given. It belongs to me. During a routine mammogram (I shamelessly nearly postponed it) unbeknown to me was the start of my breast cancer diagnosis. After numerous biopsies and scans I will be having surgery in 10 days followed by radiotherapy and medication. NOW if I hadn’t gone I would never had known as I had no symptoms. Please take note ladies and men (remind the women in your life). Life gets busy and things that are genuinely important we sometimes downgrade them. I nearly did. Yesterday I gave my breast cancer diagnosis the acknowledgment and care it needed and visited @futuredreamscharity with the wonderful support of @clairerichman 💗 please support this incredible charity. I walked into what felt like a big comforting hug. As soon as I entered the building I knew they would get what my head, heart and breast were saying and needed. Breast cancer is not all pink and fluffy, it’s scary, it hurts and it’s flipping unfair so places like @futuredreamscharity are essential. Even those like myself who have amazing family and friends need specialist support and care. Remember this is an awareness post. My prognosis is excellent, I’m one of the fortunate ladies and as far as I’m concerned my future is bright 🌞🥰💗 #breastcancerawareness by @sylvanasavvas
