~ Simplicity ~
Simplicity is choosing less, but feeling more. A person once chased too many things-status, attention, and unnecessary possessions. Life felt crowded and stressful.
One day, they decided to live simply. They kept only what they truly needed, spoke honestly, and focused on meaningful relationships. Slowly, pa replaced pressure.
They realized that happiness does not come from having everything- but from appreciating enough.

As a young girl I hated my freckles. During school months, even in the summer I would wear long sleeves to cover them. Someone once told me that the first dew on the lawn would make them disappear. I would wait for the first dew of the season and run out into the wet lawn wearing shorts and my sister's tube top and roll in the wet grass. Boy, it was cold. I would constantly check to see if they had faded any. It never happened. In my later teen years, I dreaded going to the beach or to the pool. I didn't want anyone to see my skin. It was always something I felt I had to dread when it came to my freckles.
It wasn't until I started my self love journey that all that changed. Now I love them. They are a part of me. They are one of the many things that make me who I am and who I've become and now I love them.
I no longer see them as flaws. I see them as unique spots and patterns that without them I wouldn't be me. ❤️ taken in North Carolina by @sylvialeighc

Simple camping is one of my favorite activities this time of year. 🍂
