My dad wasn’t just my best friend, he was my whole world and the most amazing father and human. Big G was one of those people who could make any room light up the second he walked into it, and somehow make a joke in even the worst situation just to make you laugh.

There are truly no words that could ever explain how much I love you or how lucky I feel to have been your daughter. You loved me, protected me, supported me, and made sure I never went a day without knowing how much I meant to you. So much of who I am is because of you, and I will carry that with me for the rest of my life.

I’ll look for you in every song that you loved especially little miss magic which you would sing to me every time we talked , every joke I tell , every time I see a frigate bird and I know you’ll still be with me through every big moment, every accomplishment, every laugh, and every hard day.

I hope you knew how loved you were, not only by me, but by every single person lucky enough to know you. I’ll spend the rest of my life making you proud and keeping Big G alive in every story I tell , and every Eric church song me and the boys sing. #LLG

I love you forever Dad 🪽
