thank you to the “FEMME RAGE” gallery for featuring two of my poems.

on crying wolf is the hardest poem i’ve ever written. i am so proud of it, but as i write this post, i am still shaking. i find comfort in the fact that i have so many people who love me and believe me. despite the ones who didn’t. the last picture is one of my favorite pictures of myself, even though i took it a few months after my assault. i am still trying to find peace everyday, and i know i will be for awhile. but i am not the same person in that picture. that person was smiling so wide but was so incredibly sad. That person was going to lose everything in a couple of weeks. that person was going to be told they were manipulative, dramatic, narcissistic, and crazy. that person was going to be told that they were delusional. I am not them anymore, but I still love them so much. I love them so so much.

to my ex friends who i have decided not to name, i hope you burn.
to the wolf, i know you’ll burn.
to my fellow survivors, the ones who have reached out to me about this poem and the ones who haven’t, we are in this together.
to my friends who have been there, i love you so much.

to my best friend, @hanhy.jpg , thank you for making femme rage happen. thank you for letting this gallery be the first home for this poem. I love you. you are my forever friend and my forever home. the katya to my trixie. we weren’t girls together, but we became women together.

I got the call the closest person to a grandmother I had was in the hospital the Sunday of Halloweekend. I told myself that it would be okay. By the end of that week she was gone. Grief is so hard, and this is the biggest amount of grief that I have ever felt. I was asked to read a poem at the funeral, and I wrote this while crying in the IMU before my poetry class. Thank you to all of my friends that checked up on me during that time, i love y’all. this for you auntie grandma 💜 by @sym.writes
