This is the West Bank. An Israeli soldier assaults a Palestinian child near Ramallah. The child looks no older than 6.

If any other country's soldiers did this to a child, Washington would call for military intervention.

But because it is Israel, US taxpayers finance this.

In recorded interviews decades after the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, retired Israeli soldiers reflected on the capture of the Palestinian village of Tantura in May 1948. The events surrounding the village remain historically disputed, with differing accounts about what occurred after it fell during the fighting.

Israeli settlers sexually assaulted a Palestinian man during a violent overnight raid on Khirbet Humsa in the northern Jordan Valley, according to witness testimonies reported by Haaretz. Witnesses say dozens of masked settlers stormed the community around 1 a.m., dragged families from their tents, zip-tied men, women, and children, and forced them to watch as the man was stripped, doused with water, and beaten into the ground with clubs.

Residents and two international activists said settlers beat girls and teenage girls, smashed heads and limbs, and piled bound family members—men, women, and children—on top of each other while continuing the assault. Victims were blindfolded, kicked, and struck repeatedly, while settlers threatened to kill the children and rape the women.

Settlers also cut one man with a knife, stole valuables, and released livestock. Six people were evacuated for treatment. Residents said Israeli soldiers later detained them, allowing the settlers to flee.

"What you do for the least of you, my brothers, you also do to me." Matthew 25:40.

I was raised in the church and have always loved the teachings of Jesus, but I do not see him in the behavior of those who claim to be Christian, yet align themselves with a doctrine of white nationalism instead. Turning your face away from suffering because you believe in heaven is abandonment of that which Christ loved. Relishing in suffering wrought on the land where the biblical canon was written is not godly. Revelations was a literary contemplation of the persecutions of Christian’s under the Roman Empire - not a prophecy of tomorrow.
