“ɪ ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴍʏ ɴᴇɢʀᴏ ɴᴏꜱᴇ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴊᴀᴄᴋꜱᴏɴ 5 ɴᴏꜱᴛʀɪʟꜱ.” ✎﹏﹏﹏﹏I am ᴘʀᴏᴜᴅ of the skin I’m in, I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. I’m honored to walk a path so divine, strong, resilient, and 𝑔𝑜𝓁𝒹𝑒𝓃. I am kissed by the sun, blessed by everything under it! The hymnals of my ancestors, the recipes and affirmations. The love disguised as strength and wisdom, the only way my grandmother knew how to express her love. I am ᴅᴇᴇᴘʟʏ connected to it all. Tree roots to family roots. 𝒮𝓅𝒾𝓇𝒾𝓉𝓊𝒶𝓁𝓁𝓎 & ᴘʜʏꜱɪᴄᴀʟʟʏ. I can’t afford to waste this once in a lifetime opportunity to 𝕝 𝕚 𝕧 𝕖. My ancestors fought for this so that I can stand here today! If I ever start to take that lightly, I must quickly remember! The work doesn’t stop here, there’s always more to do!
