Just the Beginning EP & short film is out now on YouTube & all listening platforms 🧡❤️🎶 It was so special for me to put my childhood and life thus far in film and music and I hope you get to know my story better as I take you back to Birmingham & Knoxville with these songs.

Thank you @dantenazzaro for directing this short film and going back to my hometowns with me 🎥

Thank you @synapsepublisher for helping me bring these songs to life & encouraging the idea for the short film ❤️

Thank you to all of the actors and places that took a role in this film including but not limited to @elvie.grace.bradley @living.with.lindsey @davespub @michael.hopfe

And another warm thank you to @dalepenner for co producing these songs with me and mixing the EP 🎚️ so many great musicians contributed to this EP including my lovely and supportive husband @andrewkugler1 who also was featured in the film 🥁

I believe your upbringing and childhood shapes you, but doesn’t have to define you. Always remember your beginnings and create your own future ✨ by @synapsepublisher

My debut album, Sounds Like Texas, is out on June 26th! 💛 Ten tracks, each one tied to a different Texas town and featuring iconic recordings from those places.

You’ve already heard Old Times Sake, which features the sound of dominoes shaking at the iconic Dixie Chicken.

Follow You To Lubbock includes the sound of wind recorded in Lubbock. Let me know if you can find it 👀

One lyric that really shaped this album was: “sometimes I think I hear eight generations of Texas talkin’ to me.” This album cover is so special to me for so many reasons, one being that the border is made from the handwriting of my family going back six generations. Even the sky is a subtle Texas flag.

Every detail of this album has been a labor of love that I’m incredibly proud of, and I can’t wait for you to hear these songs. taken in Texas by @synapsepublisher
