It’s been a while since I’ve showed my face so I wanted to pop on and say hello and thank you for being here.

I got braces in January and a haircut in July. This is a selfie from that night. 😆

I’ve been posting less but designing more. I’ve gotten into such a creative groove. It feels great and I’m so excited to reveal the 7 new stamp sets I have for you! Stay tuned.

I hope you are doing well and enjoying the last weeks of Summer. ☀️ Who’s gearing up for October Daily? 🧡 Drop me a line and let me know.

Those of you who know me personally or have been following Syncopation Design know what I stand for as an individual and as a business. I hope you’ll take a moment to hear me out because as a society we must refuse to normalize yesterday’s deleted post.

Hatred, racism, bigotry, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, and xenophobia have no place in a pluralistic society.

Repetition is his game. He wants you to be outraged so you become distracted, exhausted, apathetic, and hopeless. Was his post intentional? Of course. His wife’s movie flopped while viewership for Michelle Obama’s documentary “Becoming” soared on Netflix. His abhorrent behavior has a pattern.

Don’t give him your power. Stay informed to your own comfort level. It’s easy to burn out. Rest but resist. Hold onto hope and to each other. You are not alone. Look at the crowds gathering for the good of humanity. Offset the negativity by curating your own feed with good news sources, creators that empower, and historians who preserve the truth.

Maybe I’m idealistic but I believe we hold more power than we realize. I take solace in the Aesop quote, “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted,” and how this sentiment can apply to civic actions within our own communities.

Solidarity is the willingness to clearly and calmly communicate what you’re unwilling to tolerate. As a worldwide population of 8.3 billion people think of the impact we have when we come together.

Thankful for @abbeysy and her Travel Journaling workshop. It was exactly the push I needed to get back to scrapbooking.

I met a lovely and talented crafter, Laeticia @bellemichou as we passed around Abby’s beautiful journals. Coincidentally we graduated from the same high school and live a few miles apart. What a small world!

I came home from @stationery.fest and began organizing and paring down the very next day. So inspired thanks to Abby!

Thursday 3: physical therapy edition.

1- I’m back at physical therapy for frozen shoulder—this time for my left shoulder. So far it doesn’t feel as painful as the right side did. It helped to be able to recognize the symptoms right away and get treatment sooner. 😣

2- Grateful for snail mail. Always brings a smile to my face to read greetings from friends. I need to start reciprocating the joy! 📬 @nreif_24 @creativechaosinfusion @beanandpapercreations

3- Excited to see fellow memory keepers at the upcoming Stationery Festival in New York. Will you be there? I didn’t get accepted as a vendor but I’ll be there to share time with friends. ❤️

Thank you for reading and thank you to @rukristin of @the_awesome_ladies_project for creating this fun community practice.

Just over here admiring Bonnie’s purrfect eyeliner on Whisker Wednesday. We have two dedicated spots, complete with pillows, for our babies to hang out in our Kallax pantry.

#whiskerwednesday #catified #syncopationdesign #tabbycats

*Pillows are from @cosyanddozy I highly recommend them but shipping costs to the U.S. have risen astronomically at no fault of the seller. In addition to the 2 Kallax-sized pillows, we have a lounger, lounge pillow, and sisal posts that our cats LOVE that were purchased prior to tariffs were implemented and both times shipping was very affordable coming from Poland. by @syncopationdesign
