SHOT Show 2026 was just the beginning.

Since unveiling the CRYPTIC 1911 DS, law enforcement agencies across the United States have been reaching out to conduct official Test & Evaluation programs.

This isn’t hype.
This is validation.

Departments representing thousands of sworn officers are now evaluating the CRYPTIC platform for potential duty and patrol use.

From SWAT teams
to patrol officers
to department firearms instructors

The platform is being tested where it matters most.

Real officers.
Real training environments.
Real performance standards.

Multiple agencies across California, Florida, Massachusetts, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Alabama have already submitted formal requests to test the Syndicus USA CRYPTIC 1911 DS.

Some evaluations run weeks.
Others run full 90 day duty trials.

Every one of them pushes the platform harder.

Because the mission is simple.

Build a pistol capable of performing at the level demanded by law enforcement, military, and special operations professionals.

The CRYPTIC wasn’t built to compete with the standard.

It was built to raise it.

And we’re just getting started.

More agencies are currently reaching out and 2026 testing schedules are filling fast.

The future of the 2011 duty platform is being written right now.

Stay tuned.

We get a lot of questions about why we chose such an aggressive grip texture on our CRYPTIC 1911DS.

The honest answer? Real world duty use.

As a law enforcement officer, our CEO has experienced firsthand the countless environmental factors that can affect your ability to maintain a solid, consistent grip when you need it most.

Rain. Mud. Dirt. Debris. Sweat. Blood. Saliva. Water. Gloves. Adrenaline. The list goes on.

A duty firearm doesn’t exist in a controlled environment. It has to perform when conditions are less than ideal, and your grip needs to remain secure when everything around you is working against it.

That’s exactly why the CRYPTIC was designed with an aggressive grip texture inspired by the same philosophy as Killmonger from the Marvel universe: purpose built, unapologetic, and designed for control.

Our CEO wanted a grip that he would personally trust and carry in the real world. Not something designed simply to look good on a display table, but something engineered around the realities of duty use.

Every detail of the CRYPTIC has a reason behind it.
@mjd_solutions villain killmonger grip.

Built Around Reliability.

We’re proud to run MecGar magazines with our 1911DS CRYPTIC.

When it comes to a duty pistol, the magazine is just as important as the firearm itself. We chose MecGar because of their reputation for quality, consistency, and dependable performance.

Our CRYPTIC has put these magazines through their paces with thousands and thousands of rounds, and we’ve experienced zero malfunctions attributed to the magazines.

That kind of real world performance is exactly what we look for. Proven equipment, proven reliability, and confidence when it matters most.

MecGar + CRYPTIC. Built to perform. Service Born. Duty Tested.

Behind the scenes. Built for the real world.

More footage from law enforcement officers putting the Syndicus CRYPTIC 1911DS through real Test & Evaluation for duty use.

This is where performance gets proven. Officers are running the CRYPTIC through demanding drills, evaluating reliability, handling, ergonomics, accuracy, and overall performance to determine how it performs when it matters most.

The CRYPTIC wasn’t built to simply look good on a range table. It was built with duty use in mind and developed around the real world experience of law enforcement.

Every round fired. Every evaluation. Every piece of feedback helps us continue refining a platform built for those who depend on their equipment.

Service Born. Duty Tested.

THIS IS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS. 🔥

Steel, precision, and purpose all coming together.

This is where the next batch of Syndicus 1911DS CRYPTIC pistols starts taking shape. Watching these CRYPTICs get cut, machined, and brought to life is something special.

And we’re not slowing down.

These CRYPTICs are getting finished up and getting ready to head out to another department for Test & Evaluation (T&E). More agencies. More testing. More real world feedback. More CRYPTICs making their way into the hands of those who put their equipment to the ultimate test.

Service Born. Duty Tested.

This is only the beginning. Stay tuned… 👀

At Syndicus, we believe standing behind what we build is just as important as building it.

Every firearm that leaves our facility represents countless hours of design, machining, testing, and inspection. But our commitment does not end when the firearm leaves our hands.

We are grateful for the trust placed in us by those who rely on their equipment when it matters most. That is why we are proud to offer our OIS (Officer Involved Shooting) Replacement Program for law enforcement.

It is our small way of saying thank you to the men and women who put themselves on the line every day.

We are still growing, still learning, and still working hard to earn your trust. We never take that trust for granted.
