As Synergy continues to grow, making time to connect outside the office matters more than ever.

Our annual End of Summer Outing brought the team to Cathleen Stone Island for a day of boat cruising, team building, and some (very) friendly competition. It’s one of our favorite traditions, and a reminder that the relationships we build with each other are what make great work possible.

Thank you to everyone who joined and made the day such a success. Here’s to the people who make Synergy, Synergy! #TeamSynergy taken in Boston, Massachusetts by @synergybos

Boston has the talent. Let’s give it every reason to stay.

Together with BUILD617, we celebrated the grand opening of a new space built around that mission: a full floor in Downtown Boston where founders can work, collaborate, and build their companies… for free! It’s already home to 20+ startups building across AI, healthcare, fintech, and marketing.

Keeping our founders here takes more than encouragement. It takes action, partnership, and a community willing to open doors.

Thank you to our partners at BUILD617 and everyone who made this milestone possible. The next generation of Boston companies should have the opportunity to start here, grow here, and stay here. taken in Downtown Boston by @synergybos

Similar to Soccer, Graphic Design and illustration at AFH is a team sport!

Thank you to Synergy for passing the ball to AFH and trusting our team to bring your vision of celebration, unity, and love of soccer to life.

“In those illustrations, you see the country’s background, their neighborhoods, you see their cities, you see their skylines. So when they come here, they feel like they have been noticed, and they feel like: Hey, there’s a little respect for our country in Boston.” —Mikey Guadarrama, AFH Graphic Design Director and Brand Manager

In this video, you get a sneak peek into the process from start to finish—seeing the amount of care and detail that our team put into creating all nine windows. Each window represents a country participating in the World Cup, with players from Haiti, France, England, Scotland, Morocco, Norway, Iraq, and Ghana all kicking the ball towards the final soccer player and the window representing Boston.

Shoutout to AFH teen designers Mai, Stephon, Te’Zohn, Ashley, Larel, Jaliegha, Yasmine, Hodan, Angelo, Kia, and Shamania as well as mentors Mikey Guadarrama, Jonathan Tejeda, Tamara Yampolsky, and Cierra Larkin for creating this awesome piece celebrating FIFA’s World Cup and thank you to @synergybos and @lifeatbgo for making this happen!

What a month in Boston! Synergy and Center Plaza were all in for the Boston World Cup Group Stage matches. Located directly across from the official @fwc26boston Fan Festival in Downtown Boston, Center Plaza became a front-row seat to the energy, connection, and excitement the tournament brought to the city.

We partnered with @lifeatbgo and @artists.for.humanity to bring together nine talented teen artists to create a large-scale art installation displayed across Center Plaza’s floor-to-ceiling windows, celebrating the countries competing in Boston and reflecting the diversity and spirit of the global game.

Together with one of our tenants, @meetbostonusa , we helped create Boston House at Center Plaza — a VIP concierge experience that welcomed dignitaries, C-suite executives, and guests from around the world with a place to cool off, connect, enjoy refreshments, and watch the matches indoors. The experience was supported by Synergy alongside @newbalance , @draftkings , @thecateredaffair , @accessdmc , @telemundoni and @legalseafoods .

We also hosted a Synergy Community World Cup Watch Party in our Chrome amenity space at Center Plaza for the Portugal vs. Uzbekistan and England vs. Ghana matches, bringing together nearly 500 tenants from across our portfolio for food, drinks, music, and community.

And Center Plaza’s @thedublinerboston became one of the tournament’s most vibrant gathering spots, welcoming fans from around the world, especially the Scots.

We loved seeing the energy this tournament brought to Downtown Boston over the last month. It was a reminder of what makes Boston such a vibrant and welcoming city, and we’re proud that Synergy helped bring that experience to life. taken in Center Plaza by @synergybos

Synergy hosted a Broker Open House at 101 Arch Street, showcasing the building’s new Arch Street entrance, modernized lobby, and updated conferencing & amenity spaces as part of our continued investment in Downtown Boston.

The event came at an exciting time for the Downtown Boston market, where we continue to see strong momentum and growing demand from tenants. We look forward to sharing more updates on 101 Arch and other projects across our portfolio as this activity continues to build.

Thank you to our partners for their fantastic execution of this project!

As Boston's office market fights to find its footing, one investor is doubling down. Irish-born developer David Greaney has quietly spent nearly $500 million scooping up distressed office towers across the city through his firm, @SynergyBos. While many investors fled downtown, Greaney is betting that Boston's comeback will start in its overlooked Class B buildings.

Greaney's strategy is simple: Find what's tired, fix what's broken and prove the market wrong. "He's been the guy," one broker said. "The only guy still buying."

A onetime busboy from Limerick, Greaney has built a $2 billion portfolio on the belief that Boston's old bones still have plenty of life left. After sitting out the late 2010s, he's back in full buy mode — turning the city's office slump into his next opportunity.

Members of the Synergy team sponsored & participated in the 2025 Boston Inclusive Cornhole Tournament benefiting Special Olympics Massachusetts. We had the opportunity to team up with Special Olympics athletes for an afternoon of competition, community impact, and fun.

Beyond the games, it was a meaningful reminder of why these events matter: bringing people together around a cause that creates real change. A big thank you to Special Olympics MA and Dan Collins for the incredible work you do!

Synergy’s CEO, David Greaney, joins “Good Dirt Podcast - Conversations with Leaders in Real Estate and Beyond” for what the hosts, Mike and Tom Greely, call “a rare, behind-the-curtain look at Synergy.”

From arriving in the US on a summer work visa to building one of Boston’s largest commercial real estate portfolios – nearly 7 million square feet across 30+ assets – David Greaney shares the complete story. He opens up about his early investing lessons, the serendipitous moments that shaped his path, and the strategic vision behind transformative acquisitions like 99 High Street and 1 Liberty Square.

This isn’t just another success story – it’s insights from someone actively shaping Boston’s economy while working with Governor Healey’s administration on the state’s housing crisis. A “must-listen” for understanding how visionary leadership transforms cities.
