Our first Synkora event went off with a bang! ☀️

Despite it literally being one of the hottest days of the year, so many of you showed up to talk about the future of work.

What stood out to me most was how hopeful people felt.

From introducing a young person to a potential mentor, to looking out for Gen Z peers, to believing in yourself enough to change the world the room was full of optimism, ideas and action.

A huge thank you to our brilliant panelists, our partners at Beyond and PIC, everyone who volunteered, and every single person who came along and contributed to the conversation.

Together we also raised over £1,000 for Beyond through ticket sales, donations and Big Give match funding 🎉

We asked @tanyamarwaha_ & @louiselyons_, mental wellbeing advocates and Co-Founders of @synkoraconsulting.

Their answer:
Your mental health is the foundation of everything. Before your goals, your hustle, your ambitions, it has to come first.

Lean into the support that’s available. Find your anchors. Know what pulls you back when you’re feeling low.

Because when you prioritise your wellbeing, everything else gets easier!

Youth unemployment isn’t about a lack of motivation, passion or effort. It’s an issue of a lack of access, inclusivity and opportunity.

I spoke to @skynews about the UK Government’s new plans to get more young people into work, but how are they going to make sure they can stay in work and thrive?

Through @synkoraconsulting we are making sure workplaces are made for the next generations, and are psychologically safe. We are speaking to more and more clients who need help to attract, retain and support young people.

This moment was EVERYTHING. 💫

* @synkoraconsulting had its first-ever exhibition!
* I spoke on my biggest stage yet 🎤
* I filmed my first professional vlog 🎥

And now, I’m SO excited to officially launch my business on this platform. 🚀

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats:
 🎙️ I created a podcast to have deep, nuanced conversations.
 💭 I started BreatheUni, a peer support initiative driven by passion.
 💡 I had my time as a solopreneur, figuring it all out on my own.

But nothing has excited me more than starting this business.

Synkora is the first youth-led EDI consultancy, and this is just the beginning.

Some of you have known me since primary or secondary school.
 Some of you are from my uni days
 Some of you are newer to my journey.

But whether you’ve been here from day one or just joined the ride—THANK YOU. ❤️

I’ve always shared more personal things on Instagram, but I’m going to be bringing a lot more business content to this page—because, for me, business is personal. 💛
