Mayor Owens, Police Chief Rusin, Fire Chief Monds, local elected officials and first responders gathered together this morning at Forman Park to commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11. The ceremony honored the lives lost and the heroic acts of selflessness and sacrifice carried out by first responders. Our memory of the victims will never fade, and we will continue to pay tribute to the countless moments of courage and bravery shown by firefighters, police officers, and civilians 25 years ago. We will never forget. by @syracuse1848

Happy City Hall Selfie Day! 📸 Today, we’re celebrating the people who make Syracuse work, our dedicated employees across every department, every division, and every city facility.

From the employees working in City Hall to those serving our community from public works facilities, parks and recreation centers, public safety buildings, and so many other locations throughout the city, each person plays an important role in providing the services our residents rely on every day.

While we may work in different buildings and departments, we are all part of one team, working together to make our city a great place to live, work, and call home.

Today, we’re proud to recognize all of our city employees and the commitment they bring to our community every day. #cityhallselfieday taken in Syracuse City Hall by @syracuse1848
