We were on a bubbly mood in the last few days 🤭
Playing with watercolor superposition is one of the most calming and soothing things I have ever done!

As per usual, I used my @danielsmithartistsmaterials watercolours which are my go to, and my favorite round brushes : one from @escoda_brushes and another from @raphael_brushes

And last but not least the paper is from @fabriano1264 this time!

Today we have leaves 🍃 on a branch, nothing complex but I was trying to practice being more flowy with my leaves 🍃 which always look kinda basic in my flower paintings…

Practice makes progress I guess 🤷🏽‍♀️

As per usual, I used my @danielsmithartistsmaterials watercolours which are my go to, and my favorite round brushes : one from @escoda_brushes and another from @raphael_brushes

The leaves 🍃 I reworked with a mix of Inktense crayons by @derwentartofficial and Luminance by @carandache

Contours have been done with @sakura_europe fineliners

And last but not least the paper is from @archespapers

What do you do when your brain is so lost in panic mode that just watching a movie is not enough to get the voices to shut up ?

What do you do to reach focus and a calm mind ?

I either doodle or paint !

I sometimes do that too when there is too much noise pollution in the office and I need to concentrate on what is being said in a meeting!

At any rate, this is what came out of my last doodling session !

I sketched the drawing first with a Blackwing Pearl pencil and then finished it with a @sakura_europe fineliner (005)

The sketch pad is an Aquapad from @clairefontaine_finearts

I received this beautiful #paperlovesisterhood secret santa package fron the lovely @syrenia614. Beautiful gifts with fun tags that made me and my son guessing for the contents of each gift.
The reveal of the bonus package will come in a separate post on a later date.
Thank you Maria for the great gifts ❤️

It has been a hot minute since I did a bullet journal spread !
I’m trying to get back into the habit slowly!
I started with a motivational quote and a monthly calendar for January!
Just to gather my thoughts and to do list!
