I’Friends and Family,

I am excited to share a special Thanksgiving Day treat with you all! Gethsemane Baptist Church will be replacing our traditional service with an amazing short film about love, family, and faith.

This film was written and filmed by two of my favorite people Luther and Deedra Chambers. Their combined gifts and talents make them a dynamic duo and a force to be reckoned with. It is an honor to work with these two on any project, and God has more in store for them. Just stay tuned…

𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗛𝗘𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗥
(1921-2011)
Female pilot who Earned a BA in Business from Tuskegee at the age of 19. She was critical to the Tuskegee program. She applied to WASP (Women’s Airforce Service Pilots) but was denied due to race. She continued to serve as a mentor to other female pilots and continued to fly into her sixties. Seventy years after getting her license, she was finally designated a WASP and she is also a DESIGNATED ORIGINAL TUSKEGEE AIRMAN.
