Dad, it has been 4 days and is only getting harder. You left this earth too early but still left a huge impact on this community and everyone you were around. You were a great person, friend, and the best Dad I could’ve ever asked for, you were there for me every step of the way through my childhood. You showed me hockey and taught me how to play the game that I now love, but not only hockey, you showed me so many different things that I don’t think I would’ve gotten into if you didn’t show me. You also showed me what reffing is, and how to ref a hockey game. You talked me into reffing youth hockey a few years ago, and I will not forget when you and I sat down at the kitchen table and took both of our referee tests at the same time, and you helping me through mine. I also remember when I was just a little kid going into the referees locker room at the Colisée to see you in between every period at all of your games, and you always letting me sit on your lap, and will never forget those memories. You were fighting a disease that I thought you were stronger than but in the end it got the best of you, and took your life. I know you’re up there looking down on me, Emily, Mom and so many others. You were a great man who lived a great and legendary life that will never be forgotten. You will be missed Dad but not forgotten. Love you Dad.❤️🙏🏻🕊❤️ by @t.anct19
