$Growing up, I’ve lived to see the LYNCHING’S of Sean Bell, Tamir Rice, Trayvon Martin, Philando Castile, Eric Garner, George Floyd and this list goes on, & those are only a fraction of the names we’ve heard about. I’m tired, almost becoming numb to this. It scares me, Black People more specifically BLACK MEN are the most targeted, most endangered species on this planet. We live in a world where we ALWAYS have to have our guards up, our heads on a swivel, ALWAYS being cautious of our tone or appearance cause we don’t want to be prejudged or worse become one of those names I stated above. It’s sad that in 2020, with everything going on in the world, This is the fight that is ongoing...Centuries later. The virus been around 400 years & we still don’t have vaccine. But with all that being said, I am still UNAPOLOGETICALLY BLACK... stereotypes and all. 🖤 #blackouttuesday by @t.carter___$
