I just acted in scenes with Mark Ruffalo.
Even typing that feels surreal.
I didn’t meet him at an event, or in passing or in DM’s— I stood beside him, as an actor, doing the work I love. Scene by scene, moment by moment. And in the middle of it, this legend — someone I’ve watched and admired for years — told me he believes in my talent. That I’m an up-and-coming actor.
I’ll never forget that. Not because of the compliment itself — but because of what it represents.
Vindication.
Years of quiet hustle.
The decision to walk away from the “safe” path to follow the one that lit me up inside.
I found my purpose.
And it’s in this — storytelling, becoming, feeling deeply and helping others feel too.
I’m not here to impress anyone.
I’m here to inspire — to show what’s possible when you listen to that small voice inside that says “keep going.”
Even when you’re tired. Even when you’re scared. Even when no one understands. Even when no ones believes in you.
If you’re in a place where you’re searching — for meaning, for clarity, for direction — I hope this moment reminds you that it’s out there.
That your gift matters. That your path is valid. That your time is coming. I know I’m not “there” yet- but I’m on the path.
Great things happen when you trust yourself.
This isn’t the finish line — it’s the beginning.
And I’m just grateful to be walking in my purpose, one step at a time.

Not every word has a perfect English equivalent.

I’ve noticed this a lot reading Finnish, Russian, Ukrainian, and Romanian literature—sometimes a word carries an entire idea that takes a sentence to explain in English.

Sisu is one of those words.

Resilience. Grit. Courage. Determination.

But none of them quite capture it.

It’s the strength you find when you’ve already reached what you thought was your limit.

Maybe that’s what makes art so beautiful. Someone else could’ve discovered the same equation. But nobody else could’ve made exactly what you made. by @t.ingleton17
