Kenya 2026.

When people say mission trips changed their lives, I never really could comprehend what they meant. Now I do. This community in Kenya has the most welcoming, most caring, and friendliest people I have ever met. We went on 8 hour bus rides across the Kenyan countryside, passed the equator, stayed in the Easy Hotel, and way too much plane riding to get there. As soon as we stepped off the bus though, it was the best time of my life.

Every day was filled with smiles, joy, and the most laughter I’ve seen in my life. I’m pretty sure I was smiling for about 10 days straight. Every person we met said we’d make it rain, since it hadn’t in the area in a long time. After clear skies all week, we saw lions and felt rain at the same time. This moment was a true blessing to witness.

As much as we poured into these people, they poured just as much into us. Our leaders, our bus driver, our guides from 410 bridge, the local leadership council, and every other person along the way had an important part to play. We couldn’t have done any of this on our own. This team is truly inspirational and I’m grateful for everything this week.

1 Peter 4:10 says everyone has their own unique gift. I believe everyone this trip was able to show their gifts. I know that each and every person’s gift changed the lives of those around them.

Thank you @ecinsideout for the best year of my life. I have grown so much in my relationship with God, and it all started at Daytona last year. I have gotten so much closer with these people and I am proud to call them my second family. I have grown with these people as well as in my relationship with God in many ways that I will forever be grateful for. I love all of these people and I will always love how they have impacted my life. Shoutout to my mom.
