What an incredible weekend at the IBJJF New Jersey Open 2026!We are beyond proud of our team. Nearly 95% of our kids, teens, and adults brought home a medal, but what makes us even prouder is the dedication, discipline, and heart everyone showed throughout this journey.Every athlete put in the work, trained hard, stepped onto the mats with confidence, and represented Morselli Jiu-Jitsu Academy with class. Win or lose, you gave it your all, and that’s what truly matters.A huge thank you to all of our parents for your endless support, and congratulations to every competitor on an outstanding performance. Coach Spotlight: Tyler Pimentel 🥋At Morselli, we’re grateful for coaches who make a lasting impact on and off the mats — and Coach Tyler Pimentel is one of them.A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Professor Jair, Coach Tyler brings over 25 years of coaching experience and a lifelong passion for developing athletes with confidence, discipline, and heart. He has made a meaningful impact on countless youth athletes and families over the years.Along with his Jiu-Jitsu background, Coach Tyler also has experience in MMA and No-Gi grappling. Great weekend for our Morselli Jiu-Jitsu Academy Kids & Teens Competition Team at the Jiu-Jitsu World League in New York.We are very proud to bring home two First Place Academy Trophies:🏆 1st Place – Elite 8🏆 1st Place – Academy SelectWe had 16 students competing and we are proud of every single one of them.
