Big wordcount day on Rise of War-More (title reveal, muahahaha 😘), Giant had a big work&driving day, son and step daughter did a grocery&snack run for the house after school, we hung out relaxing watching football (step daughter kicked my booty in Fantasy Football this week haha, hell yeah kid!! She knows her stuff!) and watched an episode of The Voice (we are new fans!), and then Giant had some late night work stuff to do. He’s awesome about inviting me to hang with him, even if it’s just moving to another room. We don’t have an extra chair for his office space or a bed for the dogs in here yet as we are about to renovate this space, but that didn’t matter. Riggins plopped right on my lap and made me his chair 😂 Any other floor-sitters out there?? I’ve always loved it, I don’t know why.

No exciting adventures to report yesterday, but it was a damn good day. I have been reeeeally appreciating the peace in our lives lately and loving the little things again 💕

The goal for today: I’m up early for another big writing day. The book is loud and flowing and I’m having a blast getting to know this new Crew! I can’t wait to share this one with you 🐻 by @t.s.joyce

Where in the world are T&J? Lately? Everywhere!! 🤓 I’ve gotten to spend some awesome time this week meeting up with friends and getting adventure time with the Giant. And random date nights! If I haven’t been hitting some big word count days (the new book is already over halfway done 😘), then I’ve been balancing the work life out with some adventures that have made my little family/friend-lovin’ heart happy. I even got the chance to wear a dress this week!

This week has been one for the books! Plus, today I asked the Giant what he thought about putting up the Christmas decorations on November 1st this year (don’t come for me, be happy for us that we are even capable of being excited about the holiday season again ❤️❤️) and he told me he was just thinking about it this morning too, so heck yeah! We are all in on spooky season Halloween this month (I’ve been decorating 👻🦇🎃) and then straight into decking this house out! This will be our second to last holiday season in this amazing home, so we want to make it special 🥰

P.s. sorry for all the selfies, I’ve just been smiley and feelin’ myself a little lately and mediocre at taking adventure pics 😂📸

My life isn’t always balanced, but lately it has been ❤️

I’ve come to the conclusion that going through hell and back is a blessing.
How else could you so deeply appreciate the good times without the struggle?

Happy 3rd wedding anniversary to the best husband I could’ve ever asked for.

Dang we have been through it, but we did the work and ended up somewhere pretty special. I couldn’t write a better story than ours. He makes me so happy ❤️

We collect sports trading cards and he had one custom made for our anniversary, and then got me a signed 1 of 1 of my all-time favorite coach. He knows me prettyyyyyyy well 🥹 by @t.s.joyce

One last breakfast meetup with our oldest before we made the trip home! Reeeeeally thankful for the Giant’s steadiness and understanding with this lil stage five clinger momma ❤️

“You’re doing great.” - the Giant a dozen times today (mostly when I was being crybabyT)

Me when we were driving away…”I’ve been thinking about all those hard decisions I had to make as her mom…” (leaving her dad, going to war over how my kids were being treated, distancing from a family system that was dragging us down, medical medical medical, selling our home and moving the kids across the country to build a better life for them with the Giant, sole provider for my kids for the last 13 years…and watching my kids thrive in the life we built from the ground up ❤️)

Him: “the moment we just had with her is proof you did this right…” 🥹

This kiddo is happy and excited and ready, and prepared for what is to come.
