My sweet boy, you found me at a time in my life when I was lost, unsure of so much, and honestly, not ready to become a mother. I was scared of the unknown, but then you came along and somehow became the most beautiful part of it all. Now, I can’t imagine a life where you aren’t in it. I can’t wait to meet you, hold you, watch you grow, and do this life with you.
I promise to be your safe place for as long as I’m blessed to be here. I’ll be there for your first heartbreak, your biggest dreams, your hardest days, and every little moment in between. I’ll be the shoulder you cry on, the listening ear when you need to be heard, and the hand you can always reach for. No matter how big you get or how far life takes you, you will never have to wonder if your mama is there. I will be.
