From the moment the schools arrived to the last round of applause, the room was alive with support.

Arrivals, cheers, nervous smiles and proud faces; this is what it looks like when we show up for the girl child. 💜

Students from 13 schools filled the hall with their teachers, their school pride and their loudest cheers.

Every correct spelling was met with applause, and every nervous contestant knew she wasn't alone.

Every great Spelling Bee runs on two key roles: the pronouncer, who gives the words, and the Judges, who decide the rounds. At our Spelling Bee Competition in commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child, we had the best. 💜

Our pronouncer, Ms. Rachel Omonua, delivered every word with clarity and calmness, giving each contestant a fair chance to hear it, ask for repeats and spell with confidence.

Our judges, Mrs Ronke Giwa-Onafuwa, and Mr Michael Olatunbosun, listened to every letter, ruled with fairness and encouraged each of the 13 contestants from 13 schools.

Together, they made sure every girl who stepped onto that stage felt heard, respected and supported. For many of our contestants, it was a first. Thanks to this team, it was a moment of confidence, not fear.

Last week, 13 girls stood on stage, spelled their way through every round, and showed us what courage looks like. 💜 Our Spelling Bee Competition, held in Commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child, was a celebration of confidence and brilliance.
