$‘Snow’ 2026 Oil on canvas 80cm x 100cm Jordan Rubio (@jordanrubio10) So very happy with the latest artwork added to the collection, one of the first paintings to go up in our new home and, rather wonderfully, the first piece Russ and I have bought together. Thank you to the hugely talented Jordan Rubio for trusting us with such a beautiful, challenging and thought-provoking painting. It’s a powerful piece and one that has properly rekindled the collector spirit in me after it being packed away for the past few years. There’s something about Jordan’s work that rewards sitting with it. His paintings occupy that uneasy space between figuration and abstraction, beauty and decay, softness and something altogether darker. Recurring figures emerge, fracture and dissolve amongst layers of colour and imagery, never allowing themselves to be read too easily. Jordan talks about wanting the viewer to hesitate and question not only what they’re looking at, but how they’re looking, and I think that tension and ambiguity is part of what makes the work so compelling. We’ve hung it between two of my favourite works by Luke and I know he’d approve. Somehow the three works already feel very much at home together. I’m incredibly excited to watch Jordan’s practice develop and can’t wait for his upcoming solo in Berlin, and to see what comes out of his time in NYC over the next few months. Such a talented and fascinating artist at a really exciting point in his practice, I have a feeling it’s going to be quite a ride. Big thank you to @callum__crawford for the intro to Jordan, you’re a ⭐️ by @t23tgs$

We’ve officially moved to the Midlands! 🏡❤️

We’ve waved goodbye to London for the next 12 months and made ourselves a cosy little home in a lovely village just outside Keele, down the road from Stoke and round the corner from a stunning town called Nantwich which has a great cheese shop @cheeseshopnantwich 🧀

Russ will be studying, I’ll be WFH with a bit of commuting thrown in, and Bear will be taking his responsibilities very seriously, sleeping, walking, eating and then sleeping some more🐾

We’ve made ourselves a little nest here and am proud to have some of Luke’s beautiful paintings up on the walls. It means more than I can really put into words to have a little piece of him here with us as we start this new chapter.

I’m sure he’d approve although I can almost hear him telling us we’ve moved far too far from London! ❤️ Life looks very different these days, but it feels good to be making new memories while keeping the old ones close.

Thank you, Mum, for the “Welcome to your new home” card, it made us smile and was the perfect welcome 🥰🥰🥰

The cupboards are stocked with pork pies, oatcakes and Prosecco, so if you find yourselves up our way, give us a shout and pop in!

So here we are. New home, new chapter and lots still to look forward to. Onwards and upwards, here’s to new adventures, and to taking a little bit of those we love with us wherever we go🥂xxx by @t23tgs

Two years today.

I miss the way you moved through the world, with curiosity, creativity, kindness, and just the right amount of trouble. I miss the paint-smudged, bitten fingertips, the way your eyes lit up whenever you discovered something new, your fashion choices that somehow always worked, your ridiculous questions, and your gift for making people laugh with you, never at you.

I miss watching your paintings come to life in bursts of colour, hearing your laughter from across the room, and turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories together.

You wanted nothing more than to spend your life painting, and in the time you were here, you brought so much beauty, joy, and love to the people around you. You filled lives with light, laughter, creativity, and a decent amount of kindness.

Not a day goes by that I don’t miss your heart, your humour, your talent, and your unique way of seeing the world.

I think you’d approve of where I am now, of how Bear has grown, and of the path life has taken us on. I just wish, with all my heart, that you were here to share it with us, to be part of our stories and adventures, and to see for yourself what a gift life truly is.

You are forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered, Luke. ❤️ by @t23tgs

Happy Mother’s Day to the most amazing lil’mum in the world.

Not only did she play a leading role in creating me, but since the most heartbreaking night of my life, when it all felt too heavy to keep going, my mum stuck by me and helped me understand that one day, things would be okay.

It’s impossible to put into words just how bad it got. I hope with all my heart that you never have to experience anything like it. But because of my mummy, I always know I’m loved, and that someone is here for me.

Back in 2024, no matter how bad things got, or how dark the days became, Mum was there. Driving six hours at a moment’s notice just to sit with me, sleeping on my sofa week after week, talking to me every day, sometimes every hour, listening to my often incoherent tear-filled rambling and, when I was coherent, staying calm whilst I begged her to help me to understand the impossible whilst I cried and cried and cried.

Because of her, I’m still here.

She truly is the most incredible person I know. Thank you Mum. Happy Mother’s Day. Fuck, if anyone deserves their own day, it’s you!

Love you so, so very much xxx xxx by @t23tgs

DELPHIAN GALLERY: POST//FUTURE
25 FEBRUARY - 19 MARCH 2025
@delphiangallery @saatchi_gallery

Two of Luke’s watercolour on canvas works are included in @delphiangallery’s Post//Future exhibition running until the 19 March 2025 @saatchi_gallery.

I’m so incredibly proud of Luke and his spectacular paintings. These two in particular he told me, shortly before he passed, he felt achieved what he needed them to, a strong validation from such a highly self-critical artist.

Taken from his bio - “Luke masterfully reimagined the classic medium of watercolour, on both paper and canvas, with techniques which are stylistically his own, creating a unique, very personal artistic language. His artistic narrative is a complex interplay of devastation and allure, regularly revisiting the theme of a catastrophic fire, a powerful natural force that, despite its destructive capacity, is portrayed with a sense of fascination. This motif is a symbol of the dual nature of such events, embodying both the potential for destruction and the promise of renewal.”

Life is now so very empty without this brilliant man. His paintings and our memories enable him to live on. The Saatchi Gallery was one of our first dates back in late 2016 during which he told me with utter certainty he’d exhibit there. He almost did in 2021 but it wasn’t to be. 4 years later @delphiangallery has made it happen. I’m so very very thankful and so very very proud. If only he could share this with us xxx

Bear and I are now residents of The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea! Our very own quiet mews with lovely neighbours and the buzz of life right on the doorstep. Bit of a change from Margate in so many ways but a new job and the need for a new life has led to some big changes for us in 2025.

So many memories are tied up with our all too brief adventure by the sea. Some wonderful, some heartbreaking. Met a few truly amazing people and many who were not. All good fodder for the book I’m told 😉😉😉

So much I could say but if you know me and if you’ve been kind enough to be one of the tiny handful who have reached out and continued to support me and Bear over the past 6 months you’ll know how life has been after loosing the absolute love of my life, my soulmate and Bear’s amazing dad.

Come visit us if you’re in town. Bear is always looking for someone to join us on walkies round Kensington Palace and Hyde Park!

With the help of AI I’ve brought Luke’s works to life. He’d have probably told me it was cheesy, maybe even not to post but these works are just so beautiful, so deeply personal and deserve further exploration. Whilst traveling back from Venice yesterday I had time to play with an AI tool and this was the result.

Thank you @lukesilva__ for creating so many spectacular works of art. You’re missed every minute of every day.
❤️❤️❤️
