Kitchen update, because apparently we havenโ€™t been good at posting progress. Just like everything else with this house, I figure it out as we go. Of course Amanda couldnโ€™t have a simple range vent. It had to have tile on it which makes total sense because I didnโ€™t even know that was a thing. Building the box was probably the hardest thing because I had to make sure the cabinet doors closed once the tile was installed on the sides. Our kitchen is finally almost complete! taken in Manistee, Michigan by @t9erdancr

New episode of Runners of HOU! Amanda Schnell, aka @t9erdancr, calls herself a โ€œprofessional hobbyist,โ€ but her endurance reฬsumeฬ is pretty incredible: 30 marathons, a BQ, a 140.6-mile WIN, 100 miles in under 24 hours, triathlons, cycling, HYROXโ€ฆand sheโ€™s nowhere near finished. But my favorite part of our conversation wasnโ€™t the finish lines. We talked about the people who keep us coming back, balancing big goals with an actual life, being โ€œconsistently inconsistent,โ€ and why after decades in endurance sports, Amanda still believes the most important thing is to keep showing up and have fun doing it. We also discuss her goal of running a marathon in all 50 states before 50, her Kona dreams, how a stress fracture led to meeting her husband โ€” and, naturally, whether Grandmaโ€™s Marathon is actually flat. ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐ŸŽง Listen to the full episode! #runnersofhou #houston #running by @t9erdancr

๐Ÿ”Ÿ years ago, we FINALLY got to walk down the aisle, say our vows, and throw one heck of a party with all our people after a fun decade of dating, becoming adults in the real world together, finding our passion for training and racing, and building a life together. What I love about us, is that as life evolves, my love for you grows in ways I never imagined it could at 22 years old and even 10 years ago at 31. Happy anniversary @sschnell24! ๐Ÿฅ‚ The numbers donโ€™t make sense because I still feel those warm butterflies ๐Ÿฆ‹ I felt when I had to wait a few weeks to see you when we lived in different states and we were finally reunited when one of us travels w/o the other today and weโ€™re reunited. Iโ€™ll keep this brief (like my Dadโ€™s speech ๐ŸŽค on our wedding ๐Ÿ’’ day) because I know thereโ€™s painting to be done and windows to be cleaned ๐Ÿงผ in this next little adventure weโ€™re currently on. ๐Ÿš๏ธ Iโ€™m excited to see where the next 10 take us! I love doing life with you. ๐Ÿ˜˜ taken in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lake Orion by @t9erdancr

I ๐Ÿ–คCAMP ROฬ„KA STNDRD RACING CAMP โ€˜26 ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿค๐Ÿ–ค If youโ€™ve been in the triathlon scene at all over the last decade+, youโ€™ve probably seen the men of @everymanjack, now @roka_stndrd_racing dominating courses around the globe. ๐ŸŒŽ I first knew about this team of speedy dudes from mine and Steveโ€™s longtime good friend and both our triathlon coach for several years, @paulduncanjr who was an EMJ OG. I had the privilege of meeting a handful of the women attached to some of these gents through my @trespinas ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿambassadorship the last few years. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ When I found out they were taking applications for the inaugural WOMENโ€™S tri team, I had to put my name in that hat! โœจ Fast forward โฉ to March 2026, and Iโ€™m honored to be in Tucson, AZ ๐Ÿœ๏ธ logging miles swimming ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ, biking ๐Ÿšด๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ, and running ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ with some of the most badass women in the sport thanks to the incredible team @rokamultisport and our amazing partners: @roka ๐Ÿ˜Ž @trekbikes ๐Ÿšฒ @enveracing ๐Ÿ›ž @rideshimano ๐Ÿ‘Ÿโš™๏ธ @garmin โŒš๏ธ @hyperice ๐Ÿ’†๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ @maurten_official ๐Ÿ’ฆ @live.momentous ๐Ÿ’Š @alteregorunning ๐Ÿงข We even had the unique privilege of having 6x @ironmantri World Champion ๐ŸŒบ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ @markallengrip giving us tidbits to up our game and even cheering ๐Ÿ“ฃ us on as we climbed the 8,200ft of Mt. Under the lights of the Rice University track, @t9erdancr moves with the calm resolve of someone who has chosen to meet herself in the quiet hours. The air holds a faint glow, and the blue lane stretches ahead like a promise waiting to be earned. Her stride is steady. Her focus does not waver. Behind her, the shapes of other runners blur into the night, yet she stands clear in the frame, carrying the hope of her own effort. The stadium lights rise above her like distant stars, watching as she pushes through the tired breath and the stubborn pull of the final laps. You see a runner lifted by will, shaped by repetition, and strengthened by the simple decision to give more. The scene becomes a moment where the ordinary transforms into something close to grace. It invites you to look at your own path and ask what waits for you when you choose to keep moving forward. #NightOfPRs @houstonharriers #houstonharriers #trackmeet by @t9erdancr

๐ŸŽถ She had fun, fun, fun ridinโ€™ gravel โ€˜til Lake Michigan took the sun โ˜€๏ธ awayyy ๐ŸŽถ ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿšด๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒ… 204 miles of pure Michigan mayhemโ€”gravel, sand, singletrack sneak attacks, and just enough pavement to not question my life choices as I covered the furthest distance Iโ€™ve ever rode on a ๐Ÿšฒ in a day. Rolled from Lake Huron at sunrise to Lake Michigan before sunset with a 2nd place AG finish ๐Ÿฅˆand a finish-line smile ๐Ÿ˜ powered by caffeine, chaos, and crew snacks. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Massive props to my @shamacycleswomen superstar teamie @audreyonthebike for straight-up winning the whole thing! ๐Ÿ† Biggest thanks to my mom & brother @tubajim6, the real MVPs of this missionโ€”pro-level crewing, moral support, and top-tier snack delivery. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฅค๐Ÿš™ And of course love to the Coast to Coast race organizers & volunteers for making 204 miles feel almost fun the whole way. ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ Would I do it again? From the quiet expanse of the Texas countryside, she carves a path with the precision of a blade and the poise of a storm held in restraint. @t9erdancr rides not against the wind but with it, her resolve coiled tight in the silence between heartbeats, her shadow trailing behind like a banner of fire. The sun bears witness. The road yields. The race remembers. #timetrial #texasstatetimetrial #txstt #txstatetimetrial #texasstatetimetrialchampionship #cycling @shamacycleswomen @shamacycles @shamaracing #shamacycles taken in Hempstead, Texas by @t9erdancr

In the brisk clarity of a winter morning, @t9erdancr runs past, her smile bright and defiant against the cold, a beacon of joy that rises above the shivering crowd and the solemn cadence of countless footsteps. Her raised hands, offering peace in the fleeting moment, signal resiliency, yet remaining light and unburdened. Behind her, the world blurs into muted shapes and colors, spectators wrapped in layers and motion frozen in time, while she moves forward, her presence a fleeting reminder that even in the grip of the cold, there is purpose, motion, and spirit unbowed by the season or the miles ahead. #houmarathon #26point2 #chevronhoustonmarathon #houstonmarathon #marathon #houstontx #houston @monitorthebeat #aramcohoustonhalfmarathon #aramcohalfmarathon #halfmarathon #13point1 by @t9erdancr
