Many years ago i wrote a tiny story and for no good reason i decided it was the greatest story ever written.
I had v lofty ambitions of making a book so phenomanly good that it would solve my entire life, and became hell bent on doing nothing else till said goal was achieved (possibly some latent autism going on here idk)
There’s a belle and sebastian song where he says ‘if i could do just one near perfect thing i’d be happy’, im sure he wasnt talking about a book but this is exactly how i felt.
There’s also an inbetweeners scene where Will has done so much revision he no longer recognises the word ‘they’, this is also exactly how i felt, feel like if u stare at anything long enough, nothing makes any sense.
The book is called the Same, it’s a short story about a boy n his imaginery friend, they fall out then get back together again, drawings losely based on me (possibly some latent narcassim going on here too)

In truth, the book is a bit of a pitty party, and it’s probably this same self pitty that has made it take so long for me to wrap up. by @t_charis
