POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This is my last post. If you know me, then you know this has been a long time struggle for me. In truth, I’ve enjoyed the camaraderie from the producer community throughout the years and have met and made many friends. My stint as a producer has been a long and winding road, coupled with many loses and a few notable victories. I’ve reached a height of success that I thought would’ve changed my life - it did, just not for the better. I’ve spent countless hours, months, years chasing after something that never cared about the many sacrifices I made to attain it. I’ve wasted time “serving 2 masters” and as a result, have been bombarded with spiritual unrest. And all the while, my children have grown up right under my nose. I’ve been there with them, but not present enough with them. It’s finally time for me to do the hardest thing ever…lay down my ambitions at the cross of Jesus Christ. I cannot be that guy who proclaims Jesus as my Lord, but never obeys what he says. And at the end of my life, no beat I’ve made will be dope enough to buy me Salvation, no amount of scrunch face responses will give me favor with the King of Kings when it’s judgement day. And so this is me making my calling and election sure before all - For me, to live is Christ. My identity in Christ must become much greater than any other identity I possess. It’s that important: I lay down my life, pick up my cross, and follow after the one who died that I may live. Time to be present. by @t_g_beats

Matthew 11:28 declares “ come to Me all you who are labor and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

The Lord knows you…who you are…all you’ve done…yet pursues you still, desperately desiring you to receive the gift of salvation by the death of His Son.

Trust this - His yoke is easy and His burden is light!
