Simply a dream come true for me 🏆

Dream weekend at the 103rd Loudon Classic!

We fought hard and battled bike problems all week long and finally fixed the bike for Friday where I was able to focus on riding thanks to my team. On Friday I dropped two seconds from a 1:18 and on Saturday I got it down to the 1:15s in qualifying.

I made the provisional top 32 sliding in at 29th in classic qualifying on the 660 and put it front row in both Thunderbike and 500 Superbike.

The 500 Superbike race was crazy we ran top 3 the whole race in the battle for the lead and ended 3rd by .011 seconds in a drag race to the line. Absolutely pumped to earn my first pro podium along side my guy @matt_sweeney188

Then we rolled out for the Pro Thunderbike race where I had a great start but went down in turn one after grabbing the holeshot. Super fortunate to be able to walk away from it with just a good concussion and other minor injuries, just bummed that’s how my classic ended.

We went through all the emotions this past week from the podium to the back of the ambulance but I’m proud of the effort put forward to get to where we did on Saturday, it wasn’t easy.

Really excited with where we are headed into the Loudon Classic!

It was another great weekend of racing, but the weather, not so much. We ran into many problems but we just kept pushing forward session by session. The results didn’t show the effort put forth this weekend but I hope to change that at the 103rd Loudon Classic where I will attempt to make the Classic on my Aprilia RS660, while also run the Pro 500 Superbike race. Looking forward to the challenge up ahead and I know we have the pace so I’m really looking forward to it.

Definitely not how I planned on ending 2025…

This year I made my expert and professional racing debut, and was competing for the championship every weekend.

GT500: 🥈
Had the speed and the holeshot but a clutch issue handed the lead away with around 10 to go and had to settle for a really tough 2nd.

500 Supersport 🥉
This one was a battle but we still hadn’t fixed the clutch, honestly not mad at this result all things considered.

Ultralight Grand Prix 🥈
I was just one lap from finishing when someone crashed and brought out a red flag. I was winning the championship battle by a large gap before the restart. I got buried into turn one on the restart and had to watch him break free from traffic while I was stuck in the middle of it. I finally got by them all on the last lap and ran a new pb to close the gap but unfortunately couldn’t get it done and fell just one spot short again.
It was in the palm of my hands but I’ll have to look back on it as the one that got away.

Although I would have liked to win those championships, sometimes things don’t work out and go to plan, but that’s just racing. All we can do is continue to work hard to be right back on top of the podium at round 1 in May.

Round 5 @nemrrofficial had many ups and one huge down for me…

On Friday it was a frustrating day, many mechanical problems with the bike, but we finally got it sorted out in time for Saturdays morning practice.

I was pumped for the GT500 as I knew it was going to be a fun one, I took the lead and then my clutch cable actually popped, and my gap to 2nd fell apart as I couldn’t use the clutch to get the bike to downshift on corner entry. I got passed but managed to hang on to second and prevent and further points damage from happening.

GT500 🥈

I was mad at myself for losing that one because the win was right there, but it definitely fueled my performance for the rest of the weekend as it only went up from there.

On Sunday I went out for the UL GP with one plan and one plan only, to go lights out. I took the hole shot and never looked back, taking the win and the points lead going into the final round.

UL Grand Prix 🥇

After the win, looking to get another, I got a great start in race 11 and was in line to set a fast lap and completely binned it exiting turn 1. The bike and I took some pretty nasty hits into the wall, but luckily I walked away mostly unscathed.

I was very lucky to be able to get up and walk away from my crash, especially going down infront of the whole field, it could have been so much worse.

We put ourselves in the positions now we just have to get back out there at round 6 to battle for a few championships.

Round 4 of the @nemrrofficial season kept us swinging in a positive direction 🤙

I tried to get right back at it on Saturday for race day, and in practice I had a chain snap and cause a bit of damage so I spent all morning running around trying to get parts to fix it.

The GT500 was close and I was going back and forth with Grant the whole time, just barely took the last podium spot in what was a Penguin podium sweep.
GT500 🥉

Sunday was a total reset, I came out and broke my pb in morning practice and I was ready to race. In the race we all kind of stalled out at a slower pace but it was another tight race all the way to the checkered flag, which was yet another Penguin podium sweep.
Combined Grand Prix 🥈

We’ve got our work cut out for us if we want to contend for the championship but I’m very exited to get back out there at round 5 to continue the battle.
