I don’t believe in luck. I believe in God. *** Sr. Yr - The Last Stand by @t_moore44
Reflections from 2 hikes in the Buffalo National River. I repeat myself a lot 😂 but I was so blown away by this thought I believe the Lord planted in my head while hiking. I hope this is encouraging to you!!! Thankful for my friends, Seth and Reece, joining me the second time. And also big shoutout to @charisroseberry for telling me about these spots!! #hike #hiking #god #jesus by @t_moore44
“May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭19‬ ‭NLT‬‬ … I won’t lie to you. These pictures you see probably show you a great summer overall. But that is not the entire truth. This summer overall was, in fact, a very difficult one. A valley in some sense. Life is funny- I can be on a high with going on a mission trip across the world but then hit with a low right here at home soon after. However, I know that circumstances don’t define us. It’s the journey of overcoming hard things with Jesus that makes life truly special. And I couldn’t have climbed to the top without the Lord’s help. While this valley was in the making for a while, the true turning point came as I laid down on the dock over my family’s pond. I felt I had a lot of “head knowledge” or “facts” of God, but doubted I had ever felt His love. I prayed there that I would. (Ephesians 3:19) What soon followed was the removing of someone very important to me. And God, in love, convicting me and disciplining me of my hypocrisy. (Hebrews 12:6) And the deep valley began. Which you may think doesn’t make sense. But it’s when you are low and uncomfortable that you reach out towards something. I cried out to God and reached out. And man, let me tell you, did He grab ahold of my hand. In this low point, I found myself struggling with anxiety, worry, and wanting to control the situation. I experienced the Psalms in a way I never have before. (Psalm 38, 51, 55, 90, 100, 103) That’s where Jesus gracefully came in and gave me peace while also teaching me a few things. Moldova 🇲🇩 ‘26 Please read below!!!! ••• Dear friends and family, Serving on this years FCA mission trip to Moldova was truly special. Getting to see the loving Moldovan people again that I met last year was amazing. I am so grateful for your support, prayers, and love through this trip. I would love to share anything about the trip if you have questions! One part of the trip that stuck with me came from our US team morning devotion. Our team leader Korbin Farmer shared the passage Ephesians 1:11-14. In this passage, it repeats this phrase, “to the praise of His glory.” Korbin went on to explain this is our purpose in life and for this camp. Spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations, that souls may be saved is “to the praise of His glory.” From this truth, it heightened my intentionally with the campers for the rest of the week. Also, it made me want to ask a question to whoever may be reading this. Are you living “to the praise of His glory” ? Are you saved and in right relationship with God through Jesus Christ? If not, what’s holding you back? The Lord revealed Himself to me in multiple ways this trip. Through His creation in nature, through serving the Moldovan people, through the display of love from Moldovan people to us, through learning new truths from His word, through His moving power in 15 campers response to the gospel. Some of these things that have been revealed to me have also been revealed to you. Maybe you just have to take some time to look. The point is, as I asked earlier, What’s holding you back? The Lord has revealed Himself and His great steadfast love for us plainly. I would encourage you to ask questions to Christians you know, do your own research on Jesus and the gospel, pray/talk to God, and read His Word. Seek the truth! Thank you Moldova! Thank you Jesus! All “to the praise of His glory”! by @t_moore44
Where’s your will to be weird? ~ Jim Morrison 🚪 ••• Junior Year (2/2) by @t_moore44
Junior Year (1/2) ••• Reflections 4/15 ~ I am not perfect. I am a dirty, rotten sinner. I don’t deserve Gods grace and mercy. Yet the beauty of His love reminds me that I am chosen. Sealed by the Holy Spirit Forever. I will mess up, great and small, but the blood of Jesus has paid my price. In my belief, I must turn and repent from my sin and live in Christ’s resurrection power. Thank you Jesus! ~ “For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬ by @t_moore44
Truly Blessed, Thank You Jesus ••• Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. ~ Deuteronomy 6:5-6 by @t_moore44
Year 3️⃣ ••• I love Jesus. I love my mom. I love my teammates. I love basketball. In that order. ••• “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭ESV‬‬ by @t_moore44
Moldova ‘25 ✝️ 🇲🇩 ••• Wow. I’m not even sure where to begin. This mission trip did so many things, not only for me but most importantly for Gods kingdom. The Lords power was on full display, whether it was preaching the gospel or just loving on the kids of Moldova. To start, our mixed team of 9 Fellowship of Christian Athletes coaches and basketball players from various parts of the Midwest flew out to the small European country of Moldova. From June 13th-June 23rd, we put on a basketball camp for kids aged 8-18 years old while also giving our testimonies, working through Scripture, and preaching the gospel. We also did a little sight seeing (and some good food eating!) to go along with it. It was an absolute blast and truly I wanted to stay longer. Even though we had language barrier (Romanian & Russian) the Lords working hand was so evident throughout our time in Moldova —> the super kind and loving people, our wonderful translators and leaders, breathtaking scenery, and most importantly 7 campers received Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior! Praise be to God! I would love to share my mission trip expirence, my testimony, and/or the gospel with you if you are interested! Just reach out! ••• “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” ‭‭—Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭ESV‬‬ by @t_moore44
Greatest story writer ever ——> GOD! ••• The Lord truly blessed me sophomore year (and continues to bless me!) with so many things. From new lifelong friends to hard trials in basketball with redshirting. God is good, no matter what! The Lord has grown me in my faith a ton this semester. Whether, it was speaking in front of hundreds about parts of my testimony or in my quiet times with the Lord when I was struggling with basketball and seeing His plan for my life. I know in all moments I can have the feeling of peace because I have peace/relationship with God! Do you want peace in life, and at that— peace/relationship with God? Great news! You can! Read this ——> https://www.desiringgod.org/articles/a-six-point-summary-of-the-gospel “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (‭‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬‬:‭17‬ ‭ESV‬‬) God bless! ✌️ by @t_moore44
Year✌️ ••• Grateful to God for another year of basketball and for a great group of guys! I pray that the platform I’ve been given points people to Christ. “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17 ESV by @t_moore44
