Originating from NZ, @t_oddyc started his DJ career through local bushdoofs in Central Otago. He then moved to Dunedin to get involved in the club / university party scene playing support for Drum & Bass acts such as, Black Barrel (Leo Cap), Monrroe, Enei, Pola & Bryson, to name a few.

As he started breaking into the scene, he soon became fixated with Dubstep, finding comfort and freedom of space in producing 140. His best mate, WhoToldTracey (formerly 20cal) introduced him to Kyber. The trio formed @flatline.wav and released their first tune on Deep Dark & Dangerous.

For the last 2 years, ODDYC has been living in Perth, initially stepping back from music with the move over. He is now chipping away slowly, establishing his place in the Perth bass scene.

Still can’t quite believe what’s happening, having our first official release that happens to be on @deepdarkand_dangerous is something that I’m still coming to terms with. For a long time I’ve always thought anything I’ve touched music wise has never been up to scratch, or just isn’t good enough.

Having @truthtristan ask us about the tune at the Big Ol’ Bush Doof (cheers @jackstreetyo) was hard enough to believe. For him to then message Deegs and say he wants to sign it was something else! It was truely a feeling of pure ecstasy, a feeling that still runs rampant in my veins today.

All this couldn’t of happened though without the fellas, biggup @calebpitches & @kyber.nz .

We had a vision for this tune when we made it, we actually joked about it getting released on this label and now it’s actually happening. Who knew that a couple of geezas from Cromwell and Oamaru would be releasing tunes on the biggest baddest dubstep label in the world!

Back on the 1s & 2s this Friday night, stoked to play my first dubstep gig in Dunedin. @strawberrynewzealand sound install, so make sure to bring ya earplugs 🤪
