POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Just Make It. Something I’ve been telling myself a lot lately. This is sort of a remake of an old post. It was fun revisiting a past idea and giving it new life with new skills, definitely want to do more in the future!

Powering up another video game themed heart for #heartshapedwednesdays! The PlayStation 1 was such an iconic and revolutionary console. I can still remember pushing the open lid button, popping in a black disc and seeing/hearing the PS1 start screen!

It’s been an odd year to say the least, but lately I’ve been feeling pretty good and getting back in the groove of making stuff. So let’s pick things back up where we left off! I got this heart shaped pair of Dunks and another pair for next week to round out this 3 heart sneaker series. Really looking forward to making and sharing more heart shaped things!

Way late with this one but it was a great friend’s birthday on Air Max Day back in March. It felt only right to make a heart shaped pair of Air Max 1s to celebrate the occasion!

💌🗑️ I’ve always loved the @disneyland trash cans - the Small World one especially! With it being Zoë’s last year in elementary school we decided she needed a fun box for her Valentine’s Day celebrations! by @t_rez

This final post in my @homedepot “First Day of” seasonal series is long overdue. Wrapping things up was this festive scene for the First Day of Winter. Making a Home Depot themed gingerbread house was a real treat! The team at THD also had the cool idea of incorporating the dog, unicorn and penguins which are all holiday decorations that were sold in stores.

Super happy to team up with my good friend’s @target for this festive holly, berry and twig filled GiftCard! I took a lot of what I learned from the previous, Congrats GiftCard and applied it to this one. I started out by making a quick paper “sketch” to see how the leaves could overlap and create some cool depth and dimension. The final card was photographed suspended, to really push the layered, dimensional feel. I shot it in pieces, starting with the bullseye and any leaves that would be in front or behind it, and making sure to get the natural shadows cast on each object. From there, I photographed all the other leaves, twigs and a bunch of different berries for maximum flexibility when it came to combining it all in post. Huge thanks to the team at Target for always being a dream to collab with and the awesome idea/direction: @chloepaynedesign @steinel1 @whattheholt @glenzrebecca by @t_rez

🔊 Sound On 🔊 Earlier this year I had the awesome opportunity to team up with @vanmetrehomes! Together we made 2 super fun animations of house shaped books that opened up and told stories of some big (and small) life events. The whole idea was to show how Van Metre homes are built around you and your stories. I love all the little vignettes, but my favorite is probably the Car & Garage. To make that one work, I made a hole between the College Room and Garage, placed an enclosed box on the backside to house the car. Then to hide the Garage box I dropped a previous layer of the animation on top, masked out the Garage/Driveway and made new car magic ✨ Huge thanks to @bademu and the rest of the team! 🏡 by @t_rez
