@exilioensemble has an amazing program coming up on May 3 at 7:30! Our ‘Deleting x Silencing’ program features almost all new music, including works by @hedtearne , @musicmanchoi , Julia Wolfe, and Caroline Shaw. @daniel.leese and I both have premieres on the program, with mine featuring text by my grandfather as I ponder how we can preserve voices that are silencing due to failing health. Hope to see you in Westwood on Saturday! EventBrite link in bio. by @t_trevs

Many exciting events coming up this spring, including a return to the East Coast and some amazing collaborations! Additionally, I have openings in my studio for private teaching this spring.

FYI I have been drastically cutting back my social media usage and plan to continue that, so if I am slow to respond here, that’s why. I am much faster at responding to text/email these days (message me if you need either) taken in Los Angeles, California by @t_trevs

I’m so happy to be back in LA for the year after a great summer teaching at the Walden School’s Young Musicians Program and driving cross country! Now that I am done with grad school, I am expanding my private composition/theory/musicianship studio and have some openings.

It’s been such a joy teaching at Walden and privately, and much of my teaching ethos is derived from Walden’s ethos of meeting students where they’re at and tailoring curricula to the student’s interests and needs.

If you or someone you know would be interested in composition, theory, or musicianship lessons, please let me know! I teach both in person (Los Angeles area) and remotely over Zoom.
