Arguably one of the best multi-sport athletes in South Africa, Lance Kime - will teach you how to fuel, right here.

Having won the Dusi Canoe Marathon, Defender Trophy South Africa 2026, multiple adventure races & the Mr Sweets contest - to name but a few locally & internationally - and an integral member of @teamsonglines - this man is worth listening to.

No Frills. No Fuss. Swellendam 2026

I’ve had the absolute privilege (and I mean that in every sense of the word) to work with @brundle3 , @volksvreemd & crew on a number of their adventure races over the last 4 years now.   Coming from a place where I had very little understanding of what an AR was, to being indoctrinated into the cult of believing that AR is probably one of the toughest sports to compete in today, I am too stoked to share some of the stills from the 2026 Swellendam edition of the series.   There is nobody else I would rather run around at 3am in the morning with fuelled by coffee & banana bread @brundle and I must thank you deeply for exposing me to your world and your continued sharing of your space and people with me.   While most sports are hard to encapsulate in an image, the nature of AR makes it completely futile to even try.   My hope is these images I captured manage to share, in the smallest shape and form, a bit of the feelings and emotions from the weekend.   To everyone who competed, you’re all a bunch of bladdy legends and you inspire the rest of us to do hard things.   And that is where the marrow of life lives <3   Til next year.   Happy racing. taken in Swellendam, South Africa by @ta_devs

Old Ocean ’25

A little Hawksbill turtle swim by.

The more you watch animals the more you learn. And I have learnt SO much in the last few years. From what initially feels like a very chaotic and random space, the more time you spend in the sea the more you start seeing personalities emerge across species and individual animals.

For me this turtle swimming right towards and past me was such an epic moment!

Conservation in 645

The rollercoaster that has been 2025 has seen lots of ups & lots of downs, but one of the biggest highlights has been several trips to the Cederberg to @driehoekcederberg helping to document @sustainableceder epic work & connect with the most wholesome people.

Shoots are long and tough and wear you down, but the Cederberg definitely fills the cup in more ways than long hours could ever empty it.
