Ooooh September you were Delicious! Quite literally, as I ate the most delicious food and drank the freshest elixirs and juices while checking off a few countries on my bucket list, Bangkok, and Bali ~ got to spend 2 1/2 days in my other home, STL to quickly love up on family, to make it back home to NYC just in time to celebrate some of my favesl September Gurl. you were finger-licking GOOD and I am grateful!

Bali Bali Baby: Part 1 ✨✨✨
Bali, Girl you are Cute Cute Cute!!! ✨❤️✨

Part 1 started with adventure and a straight ParTaaaaay 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 ~ we dipped and tripped on a failed ATV ride 😩 but recovered the next day with a Sunday R&B Brunch hosted by the crew at @blackinbali that turned us all the way out!

We ate, sipped and ‘danced hard’ while running into all the fabulous Black people in Bali - btw - there is a huge Black expact community in Bali. We met folks from DC, LA, Miami, Chicago, Brooklyn and Eboni ran into a Childhood Friend from Charlotte at the brunch in the middle of our epic Bali Twirl!

Who knew about the Amazing & DELICIOUS restaurant scene in Bali? Every place we ate, we wanted to lick the plates, it was so damn good! Literally every restaurant we could taste every single spice, rarely if any salt was added, plus, no antibiotics in the food no pesticides… Just Pure deliciousness! Bali you literally fed our souls in all the ways.

Waking up to our lovely chef, feeding us the prettiest and freshest fruit & smoothie bowls with watermelon juice almost every morning, you got us all the way together.

Our morning yoga, set the tone for our next few days. Gratitude starts our days in Bali 🙏🏽

Happy Fall Equinox my Loves! ✨🍁

But let me RUN it BACK to the Most JOY filled, LOVE Fest and simply amazing Summers ever!

Listen, living in NYC as the Knicks finally won a long, long, lonnnng awaited championship and the reveling in the joy and love that permeated the city was a welcome reprieve and a unexpected salve for all of us. This entire summer was truly special!

Spending each weekend with a Blackity Black Black celebration of USSSS on the Blocks of Brooklyn to spending intimate time and deep belly laughs & epic TWIRLS with my very special Loves, to finally being able to check off 2 countries in southeast Asia (Bangkok & Bali baby) on my bucket list that gave me everything and more, was just beyond ~ and I am truly grateful, upon grateful, upon grateFullll!

This particular season of Saying YES and unapologetically accepting the Blessing of Receiving and understanding I Am, You are, WE ARE deserving and Worthy of abundant blessings was intentional and very challenging given the state of the world. Yessss, this period is beyond precarious, flawed, evil as hell and really F’d up, but having a moment to witness, & relish in a beautiful umbrella of love, particularly in my city was just a welcome and a divine reprieve as we continue to buckle down & do the work. There’s so much work to do. It is simply overwhelming at times, but we have to pour into our collective cup to become stronger and more strategic. This summer, was a personification of pouring overflowing love back in our cups.

Grateful for this pause. Grateful to encounter gracious, tender, and beautiful people outside of this ratchet country helped me recalibrate my nervous system in the way that I hope will infuse more creativity, more love, more kindness and hopefully spark dialogue, some understanding that leads to real change. We all need and deserve ‘a minute/moment’ in order for us to get back to this work fortified and replenished.

Remember God/The Most High don’t play about USSSS… So let’s get to the business of living and experiencing joy, despite it all. We have a lot of work to do! Love y’all real Bad! 🖤🖤🖤

Final Chapter ~ Bali Baby Pt. 4💐🌼🌺🌷🌸💐

Our last day in Bali was the perfect ending to an incredible trip. We spent a Glorious afternoon at @fivelementsretreats where we had one of the most amazing massages of our lives, literally!
We didn’t want to ever leave the table, it was that good!!!

Starting with an intimate ritual with a beautiful monk blessing and an artisanal tea experience ~ our last day was peaceful, spiritual and intentional, exactly how we wanted to close out Bali.

After all the exploring, eating, laughing, sipping, shopping and twirling, ending the trip with a little stillness and so much gratitude felt exactly right and right and on time. Bali, my love, you were GOOD to Me! 🙏🏽🖤🙏🏽

Bali Baby Pt: 3 ✨✨✨

From exploring the Tegallalang Rice Terrances, surrounded by those lush green landscapes, that almost didn’t look real, to capturing Eboni’s big swing moment in her Fabulous Four fuchsia, Bali is something special! 💕

The spas and massages are next level, especially @ulamanbali which felt like it’s own sanctuary with our 6hr treatment sessions ~ 90min traditional Balinese scrub and massage, 60min sound bath, lymphatic, massage, and scrub topped with a 30min flower bath, coupled with the very best lunch ~ for dollars on a dime (literally) ~ Bali gave us bliss, beauty, restoration and just enough indulgence that we will be back sooner than soon! Bali my Love!

Bali Baby Pt: 2 🙏🏽🌞🙏🏽

Bali was everything I / we needed and more. Beautiful beaches, a F A N T A S T I C beach club in Ullawttu called @sundaysbeachclub where we had the most amazing cabana with a fabulous butler, foot massages, private bathroom and shower, welcome bubbles, delicious food and drinks, a gorgeous beach with caves where we (of course) had a photo shoot with art direction (smile) ending with sunset marshmallow roast ~ it was next level indeed!

But one of the most meaningful experiences was participating in Melukat at a sacred temple, which is a Balinese water purification, and cleansing ritual. It was spiritual and grounding in a way I wasn’t expecting but somehow knew it would be.

Those next few days gave us everything: amazing food and cocktails and beauty coupled with restoration, rest steeped in exquisite Balinese culture. It was hard to leave.

Epic Trip Part 2: Bali Baby! 🔥🖤🔥

Arriving to our home away from home was better than alllll the pictures! Tanah Yang Jauh Villa in Ubud was Beautiful by Day & by Night!

Stretched on a sea of rice fields our 5bdrm sanctuary was filled with chimes from the neighborhood grammar school that we could see just across the way, surrounded by lush, vegetation, an infinity pool, gym, and an open concept living area with a sunken outdoor den right next to the pool ~ She was real pretty!

The Fab Five were definitely luxuriating! ✨

THIS was a trip of a lifetime! Meaning, I’ve been trying to get to this part of the world, specifically Bangkok and Bali for 4Ever!!!
I am beyond grateful the planets divinely aligned to allow me to finally pull the trigger in the most awesome way!

It started with 3 nonstop days in Bangkok, and when I say, nonstop, I mean, nonstop!
We were running ~ jet lag where? : )

From visiting beautiful temples & having intimate moments with the divine in those sacred spaces to exploring the goodies in the river market, to greeting a train that flows right through the city as we discover new and delicious fruit native to Thailand, to learning to make 4 delicious dishes, in an awesome cooking class in the middle of the 2nd largest flower and vegetable market in the world, to our daily visits sourcing F A B U L O U S treasures while experiencing the infamous Bangkok traffic, to taking in all that bubbling and beautiful energy in Bangkok, we packed it ALL in!

And that was only the beginning. Every stop brought something completely different, the excitement and sensory overload of the city to moments of beauty, thoughtfulness, and kindness (the people are incredible & gracious) and the city had the nerve to be Spotless!!!…!

Bangkok my Love, you were Special in the best possible way! A perfect & beautiful prelude to Bali ~ I’ll be back soon. There are a few more yummy treasures I need to get! 😜😜😜

Spike Lee’s annual MJ Party “Brooklyn Loves Michael Jackson” with DJ Spinna at Ft Greene Park and then the Soap Box Presents Block Party on Jefferson Ave featuring House Music Live and spun, was the Perfect Ending of this Love and Joy-filled Summer of 2026!!!

This city was electric and damn near vibrating all summer long!
