Miss Bridget is my love letter to high school Tabby, so scared of trying new things and letting down everyone, yet still so positive even when the world was crumbling around her. The past four weeks have healed so many of her wounds and opened me up to so much joy I hadn’t ever let myself experience. I came into this process knowing I had to be the stoic, professional example, and I prepared myself to walk away from this contract with just having Aavyn and gaining a few new skills. I still have Aavyn, and I did gain those new skills. But even more importantly, I got carpools that gave me three of the dearest people in my life, a confidence in myself and my abilities like I have never had before, a whole crew of younger siblings to uplift and watch shine, and so much more.
This amazing group of people was the warmest, kindest, most hilarious cast I have ever been a part of. Their joy in being young and working reminded me how precious this career is and how I was exactly where I had dreamt of being for so long. And if I actually allowed myself to slow down and not just be Tabitha Cheyenne, the professional actress, I could just be Tabby, and she was actually just as loved and wanted. I adore you, my sweet Bring It On Family. Big Sis is cheering for you wherever you go.

It’s been a week since I said goodbye to the amazing, beautiful dream that was Midsummer! When I decided to come back to this show I had no idea I would meet people that made life feel so worth living. This show, these wonderful new friends, and these roles have given me immeasurable joy. I truly feel this was the best things I’ve ever been a part of, and it has everything to do with the love we (us and William Shakespeare) poured into this show!! Mary, you have given me the world, and I thank you eternally. You let a walking billboard for musical theatre do Shakespeare, and I am grateful for the rest of my life!! My sweet sisters Faye, and Eloise, it is an honor to be your stage big sister. 💜 My rat pack, you are the loves of my life and the best people I know. If any of you stop talking to me I will burn down the globe (for legal purposes, this is a joke). I can’t wait for our remount. We closed Wrinkle yesterday! This show had its MANY ups and downs, but through it all this beautiful group of people showed us all how powerful love and connection truly is. My sweet cast mates, thank you for letting me take countless candid lapse pictures of you, putting up with all of the crazy pet names I call you, and letting me laugh with you! I am forever thankful to GET for once again giving me a family. 💜 To my love, my light, my sweet Aavyn Lee, thank you for convincing me to say yes.

Words cannot express how much love I have for the DMP cast and this entire experience. From day ONE, this show felt special, and 104 shows later it absolutely is. I truly have no words to describe how grateful I am for every single person (zombie/eternal being) in this cast, and how much love I have in my heart for all of you!! I couldn’t ask for me! I love you Dead Man’s Party Family!! You’re my people for all eternity, and I can’t imagine sharing a grave with anyone else! You never know what life will bring. 🌟

The past six weeks have been the best six weeks of my life, working on the greatest price of theatre I have ever been apart of. These Bright Stars allowed me to be my most authentic self and live out my dreams while supporting me and providing me with an outpouring of love. I am beyond grateful that this show was my first professional show in Atlanta. I love you all so, so much. Mama might not be here anymore, but I will always be close to you, reminding you that the sun does shine again. You all are my family, and you always have a home in my heart. Happy Closing Bright Star. Hope and dreams and fine imaginings happen in their own good time. 💜
