Since struggling balancing a life as a dance artist and mother in my recent studies in cultural work I have been diving deeper in a research concerning care work in the art field.

Following Joan Tronto‘s suggest, I believe that care-work must be understand as a political and not private responsibility. We need to centralise it, since it is care-work that sustains us all and and keeps us alive.

How would the art scene look like when art and art production would be structured around care? This question and many more are coming up when looking more closely to the situation of artist parents and carers a long my way. Precisely because of the massive gender imbalances that mainly woman are facing impacting financial losses or difficulties in participation.

A little insight of my, material and form study, I was busy with last half a year. Bouncing and travelling through my body, back and forth and back, trying to minimize muscular effort and searching for unconventional ways of moving.   Thanks to @low__end for your very inspiring musical support.
