I did the DNA ancestry test because being Southern African (South East, whatever) means our ancestors actually migrated from Central or West Africa (Bantu migration) over a 2000 to 3000 year period.

Not sure what I was expecting but I didn't realise my Southern African DNA would be less than 50%. I can't describe how I initially felt, therefore I concluded it was sadness (I know, I know😅). But now I realise I'm an "all rounder" with DNA from East, West, Central and South. Make way for your African Queen .

I also used the 23andme kit, therefore I'm looking forward to comparing the results. by @tabetha263zw

You know you're a "grown-up" when you meet up with your child in London and at the end of the day, you each go your separate ways. The best is yet to come; when she starts paying for my meals😅. And yes, i look tired, I'd only slept for 3hrs🤦🏾‍♀️ by @tabetha263zw
