💜 HOT UBE LATTE – A LITTLE PURPLE MAGIC! ✨

Have you ever tried a purple latte? This creamy, dreamy drink gets its beautiful natural colour from Ube, a purple yam traditionally used in Filipino cuisine.

💜 Ingredients:

* 1 tsp pure Ube powder
* 40 ml warm water
* Oat milk (or any regular or plant-based milk that can be frothed)

Preparation:

1. Mix the Ube powder with 40 ml of warm water until completely smooth and lump-free.
2. Let it sit for a little while to hydrate.
3. Froth the oat milk until creamy and fluffy.
4. Pour the Ube mixture and frothed milk alternately into a glass to create beautiful purple swirls.
5. Enjoy your homemade Hot Ube Latte!

🌿 Why Ube?

Ube contains naturally occurring anthocyanins, plant pigments with antioxidant properties. It also provides carbohydrates, fibre and various minerals, depending on the product and processing.

The result? A naturally sweet, creamy and comforting drink!

I didn’t add any sweetener because both the Ube and oat milk have a gentle natural sweetness. But feel free to add your favourite sweetener if you like it sweeter.

💜 Would you try this beautiful purple latte?

Quince & Raspberry Jam 🍐🍓A Taste of Autumn
DESCRIPTION:

🍂 The wonderful taste of autumn in a jar! 🍂

Quinces are beautiful autumn fruits with a delicate fragrance and a unique flavour. They contain vitamin C, fibre and antioxidants. They are also naturally rich in pectin, which helps homemade jam thicken beautifully.

Today, I’m making a delicious homemade jam by combining fragrant quinces with juicy raspberries. The result is a wonderful fruity flavour, a beautiful colour and a taste that brings back the simple pleasures of autumn. ❤️

🍓 HOMEMADE QUINCE & RASPBERRY JAM

Ingredients:

* 750 g prepared quince flesh (peeled, cored and ready to use)
* 300 g frozen raspberries
* 30 g freshly squeezed lemon juice
* 100 g water
* 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
* 600 g brown sugar (or regular white sugar)

Method:

1. Peel and core the quinces, then weigh out exactly 750 g of prepared fruit.
2. Grate the quince finely or chop it into small pieces using a food processor. Smaller pieces cook faster and help the fruit soften evenly.
3. Place the quince and all the remaining ingredients in a large pot.
4. Bring everything to a boil, stirring, then reduce the heat and simmer gently for about 30 minutes. Stir regularly to prevent sticking.
5. Test the consistency by placing a small spoonful of jam on a little plate. Let it cool briefly. If the jam sets, it is ready. Quinces are naturally rich in pectin, which helps the jam thicken.
6. If it is still too runny, cook for another 5 minutes and test again.
7. Carefully fill clean jars with the hot jam and close the lids tightly.
8. Cover the jars with a blanket and leave them to cool slowly and completely.
9. Once cooled, store the jars in a cool, suitable place, such as a pantry or cellar.

✨ This quince and raspberry combination is absolutely delicious! The fragrant quince and fruity raspberries complement each other beautifully.

Homemade with love! ❤️

DIY Calendula Cream 🌼 A Golden Touch of Nature | ASMR

Discover how I make my homemade calendula cream using dried calendula flowers and jojoba oil.

I dried the calendula flowers thoroughly and infused them in jojoba oil for 6 weeks, gently shaking the jar every day. After straining the oil, I melted the beeswax in a double boiler and combined the ingredients to create this beautiful golden cream.

✨ Ingredients:

* 310 ml calendula-infused jojoba oil
* 35 g beeswax
* 100 drops Jasmine Absolute 4% (optional)
* 13 drops organic cedarwood essential oil (optional)

The jasmine absolute and cedarwood essential oil are optional. You can leave them out if you prefer an unscented cream.

🌿 Want a thicker cream?

This recipe produces a relatively soft, fluid cream that works well in a pump dispenser.

If you prefer a firmer, creamier texture, you can try using 45 g of beeswax instead of 35 g with 310 ml of calendula-infused jojoba oil.

I love the beautiful golden color and silky texture of this homemade skincare creation! 🌼

Enjoy the natural sounds of the preparation in this relaxing ASMR video.

Thank you for watching! ❤️

Peppermint & Mango Syrup 🌿🥭

A refreshing and delicious syrup made with fresh peppermint, lemon and mango. The peppermint is left to infuse for 3 days, with a quick stir once a day.

Ingredients:

* 150 g fresh peppermint leaves 🌿
* 1.6 L cold water
* 3 tsp citric acid
* 150 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice 🍋
* 400 g fresh mango, cut into pieces 🥭
* 1 kg xylitol (you can use regular sugar or your preferred sweetener instead)

Method:

1. Add the fresh peppermint leaves to 1.6 L cold water. Add the citric acid and fresh lemon juice.
2. Cover and let it infuse for 3 days, stirring once a day.
3. After 3 days, strain the peppermint infusion and bring it to a boil.
4. Add the 400 g mango pieces and let them infuse for 20 minutes.
5. Blend the mango and the infusion until smooth.
6. Add 1 kg xylitol and stir until completely dissolved.
7. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
8. Strain once more to obtain a smooth, clear syrup.
9. Pour into clean bottles.

Fresh, fruity and absolutely delicious! 🌿🥭🍋

Homemade Rose Cream made with fragrant roses from my own garden. 🌹

I then whipped the mixture until it became light, smooth and creamy. ✨

🌹 Moisturizing • Soothing • Softening

You can also make the rose infusion with another suitable carrier oil of your choice.
