It’s so important to choose a business model that aligns with your values, not just what looks good on the surface.

For me, it had to be:
✔️ Sustainable
✔️ Profitable
✔️ Legitimate

And just as important it needed to involve products that are better for the planet, better for our bodies, and support my financial wellbeing too. 🌱💛

I did the research, found what felt right, and now I get to build a business I genuinely believe in and help other mums do the same.

It is easy to look at people online and think, that could never be me.

But every single person in this community started exactly where you are juggling work, family and life, while knowing something had to change.

We’ve got teachers, nurses, retail managers, PTs, stay at home mums… people from almost every profession. Different backgrounds, but the same goal: more freedom, flexibility, and control over their time.

They didn’t want to stay stuck in the same routine for the next 30 years. So they learnt new skills, started online, and built something that gave them options.

They’re not influencers.
Just normal people who decided to use the online world to create something better for themselves and their families.

This week the kids had a go at Muay Thai boxing! 🥊🇹🇭

They had a pretty intense hour, starting with a warm up before learning some new skills and even getting into the ring!

They’re already excited to go and watch a tournament next weekend to see the real athletes in action.

One of the best things about travelling is getting to try things we might never have experienced at home. Learning doesn’t just happen in a classroom!

If “normal” means…

A capped salary.
A boss deciding my worth.
Working overtime without being paid.

Then no, thank you.

I’d rather build something different. Something that allows me to work differently, not by accident, but intentionally.

Week 9 of our six month adventure has been in Koh Samui, Thailand.

A little snapshot of life lately 🫶🏻

🐚 Finding shells that looked like butterflies and reminded us of Grandpa (my dad), so we had a little chat about him.

🛶 One on one kayak trips with the kids.

💻 Working in little pockets of time and jumping on calls’.

🍜 Night markets, watching their dinner being cooked and spotting some very interesting wooden ornaments.

🥊 A Muay Thai boxing session.

🌱 Finding baby coconuts that had sprouted and planting them.

📚 Squeezing in some learning while a rainstorm passed over.

🍴 Lunch, zip wire and gym sessions with my boys.

Nothing particularly extraordinary, just lots of little moments that make up this adventure. by @tabitha.lucy.roberts

It started out as “should we?”…

Then came getting permission from hubby’s work and the kids’ school and eventually… actually going for it! 🫣

We don’t want to travel full time it’s not for us. We actually LOVE our little life back home.

But we are absolutely LOVING all the new experiences, the slower days and most of all, watching our kids experience it all with us and hanging out.

So this is our 6 month pause on reality before our boys head to high school next year.

8 weeks in Indonesia done now let’s see what we get up to in Thailand.

If you’re thinking about creating an income online, these are the 3 things I think are really important to look for 👇🏻

1. High value products or services -
High value means you have the potential to earn higher commissions from each sale. For me, I wanted to know that the time and effort I was putting into building something was actually worth it. Not having to make 100s of sales to make a profit, instead ONE sale that could make 1000s.

2. Automated systems
I didn’t want to build a business that meant being glued to my phone 24/7. I wanted systems that could help attract people, market the business, educate them and support them even when I’m busy being a mum. No salesy ‘ick’ just sharing information with people actually looking for what I offer.

3. Training + mentorship
Moving online can feel SO confusing when there are hundreds of different opportunities out there. Having an existing training platform, weekly calls and someone who has already built the business to guide, support and cheer you on makes such a difference.

If you’re looking at online opportunities, my biggest advice would be understand the business model.
Understand what is expected of you, how you’re compensated and that you are working with products or services that actually help people.

Just for a bit of fun I decided to have a giggle with one of my twins!

We saw a reel and thought it was such a giggle so did our own version. While travelling turned out I’m not carrying much make up so it was simple haha 🤣
