It started back in February when I found out I was pregnant and surprised Tom when he came home from work. Our plan was to wait to start trying until 6-8 months after the wedding. Well, God had other plans!

By 8 weeks, we started telling our families. We went to the first appointments and saw the tiny ultrasound pictures.

The first trimester was definitely a roller coaster. We were so excited, I was so exhausted, and there was a lot of lying on the couch with Tom delivering me pretzels and blankets.

Since then, Baby Butler has grown from the size of a poppy seed to an eggplant! 🍆

Now we’re at the tail end of the second trimester, my belly is big time bumping, baby is kicking all the time, and we’re getting started on the nursery.

I’m feeling very grateful, very emotional, and still kind of amazed that this is our life now. 🤍
