Life update!! 🤍

- I moved to Orange County, California
- Started my new job at SCU as an admissions advisor
- Have consumed way too much matcha & mexican food
- Have taken many trips to the beach
- Said goodbye to my fiancé as he went back to the East Coast
- And somehow also managed to get hit by a car:,)

I’m definitely missing St. Louis and all my people there, but I’m so thankful for this new season. While it hasn’t been easy, I have been abundantly blessed and have experienced God’s faithfulness🤍 taken in Orange County, California by @tabithamars

2.5 years ago, I stepped into a church that would completely change my life.

Crossroads quickly became home and an instant family. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with open arms and loved in a way I had never experienced before. Love truly is evident in everything they do.

Crossroads has been one of God’s greatest blessings since He brought me to Missouri, and I’ll never forget that special little church in the middle of Wentzville.

I don’t think words could ever express how thankful I am for every person who poured into me, every opportunity I had to serve, and the incredible pastors and leaders I had the privilege of learning from. I am so incredibly blessed to have called Crossroads my home.

December 15, 2023. Exactly two years ago today, my life direction was forever changed, and I watched God unfold a miracle right before my eyes.

I've debated for a while about sharing what happened two years ago, but I now feel ready to talk about it on social media.

Exactly two years ago today, I was expelled from the university I had attended for almost four years and was about to graduate from as a senior studying marketing. The reason was my biblical stance on the oneness of God. I could not affirm the Trinity because it went against Scripture and biblical truth, and because of that, I was expelled on the spot and fired from my job at the school.

This was not in my plans and came completely out of nowhere. I remember asking, how could God be glorified through this, and how could God possibly be in control right now?

Little did I know it was not a setback, but a setup for what God was about to do in my life.

Within two weeks, God performed miracle after miracle. He unexpectedly opened doors for me to move to St. Louis, Missouri, to finish my degree at @urshanuniv even though I was now a year behind, and answered the prayers of a twelve-year-old girl who had been praying and asking God to send her to Bible college. Door after door God opened. Blessing upon blessing He provided.

I look back on that day and see a completely different person than I was then. If I could go back and speak to the heartbroken, terrified girl I was, I would tell her to just wait. A miracle is coming. A blessing is coming. It is going to be alright. Your Heavenly Father, the God who has never failed, is about to do something spectacular in your life. You just have to go through the valley first.

It was not a setback. It was a setup for the incredible plans God had in store for my life. I look back with gratitude and awe at the goodness of God. I could never have imagined what God would do with my life, but I can promise you this. He knows exactly what He is doing.

We may not comprehend the plans of God, but He is a good Father who has never failed and never will. What I thought would destroy me became the most beautiful testimony.
