Just feels necessary to say at the moment! I'm not a luddite (though tbf the luddites had a point), but humanity has got this far without outsourcing thought and I don't see AI making the world any better.

I don't use Generative AI in my work or personal life. I can see how some other forms can be useful in select research projects, and I admit I use the MS Office background remover which is apparently AI now for some reason). I'm not perfect - I can't always spot partial-AI vs AI-free work - but I try not to circulate AI-created stuff as much as I can. 👻 by @tabithastanmore

All the plants that struggled over the summer are rallying! It's still too warm and we haven't had the big leaf drop yet, but everything feels so gloriously alive and I'm grateful

Huh. I could have sworn I wrote a caption when I originally posted this but... It's not here? Anyway, it was meant to say I'm solely talking about the films, not the books. The first film departed so far from the first book that I treat them as separate entities, and I don't think film 2 stayed consistent with the original choices made in the first one.

I've turned off commenting because the volume was getting overwhelming, and the point of my account is more history and cats than film critique. If you loved film 2, great! Don't let my grump put you off ❤️ if you're interested in the history of English magic and witchcraft, stick around for more on that in the future! 🐈‍⬛ by @tabithastanmore

The Battle of Tewkesbury 1471 was the decisive battle in the Wars of the Roses. It saw the Lancastrian side routed by the Yorkists, and the death of Edward, the Lancastrian prince of Wales. He was respectfully buried in Tewkesbury Abbey (after a very disrespectful massacre of Lancastrian forces in said abbey...) but the Yorkist king Edward IV was careful to ensure his emblem, a golden sun, hung over the grave forever... taken in Tewkesbury Abbey by @tabithastanmore
